Only Hillary could be the victim of a vast right wing AND left wing conspiracy. |
|
New from Taylor Marsh's website is a new post talking about the the left wing smears attacking Hillary. (complete with Nutty comments)
I find this funny that the new Clinton talking point is that it is the Progressive-Activist-Left that is conspiring against her. That it is Dean, Huffington, Kennedy, Richardson, Stephanie Miller, Olberman, Moveon..etc all the darlings of the left that are unfairly attacking her and intimidating her supporters, and enforcing DNC rules(in Dean's case)to deny her the presidency.
Why are so many Dems buying this? It worries me. How could so many Dems throw the WHOLE party under the bus for one candidate?
It does make me happy that I am an Obama supporter. I don't have to hate anybody. (including Bill. Who, while I disagree with him, I don't hate him or think he is out to "get" Obama)

1. Maybe there's a reason so many dislike her. |

2. I think her overall VICTIM theme has just spilled over with her need to blame others. |
|
Your point is well-taken though and the irony is indeed thick. :)

3. She's making herself the ultimate victim. |
|
Talk about creating your own legacy. When she loses, and she will, she is going to be remembered well, blaming everyone but herself. It isn't pretty.

I know quite well who Bev Harris is, and the trouble she's caused (here and other places). WHAT are you hinting at, specifically?

13. I'm not hinting or even implying ... I'm telling you, DU has been fooled |
|
before. I stood up to her when no one else would ... but wasn't surprised that my warnings went unheeded. We were doing hospice @ home at the time, so I walked away for the worst of it.
So none of the behavior I've seen on display this silly season surprises me, nor would it anyone else who remembers what I went through defying DU's conventional "wisdom".

14. Unless you explain what you mean in the context of this thread, you're full of shit. |
|
I want to know: are you suggesting that Bev Harris is interfering with or on behalf of either of the candidates, and if so, which one and why? And if not, why bring up her name in this thread?

|
Here's the context:
Why are so many Dems buying this?
The answer is: because you're gullible. Proof? Bev Harris. I rest my case.

|
I'm not an Obama OR Hillary supporter (I supported Edwards and will vote for the eventual nominee).
I've lost NO argument, Fredda--I'm calling you on your BS, because Bev is an (understandably) big boogeyman to toss out, especially on this site with everything that happened to Andy. Don't make oblique comments like that and then expect everybody to just swallow it without question or comment.
I don't know WTF you think I'm gullible about--I'm one of the first DUers (Not_over_it is my original nick), and I've weathered some nasty shit here. I'm just about the least gullible poster you'll find here.

|
You think that Hillary's supporters are buying into a vast left wing conspiracy against Hillary and your proof is that some DUers fell for Bev Harris on DU?
Is that what you are saying?

Shows what you know.
Oh, and Humphrey was also attacked by CREEP, though not as savagely, but he was mauled even more viciously by people in his own party.

she played the wrong hand, and now a very smart, capable, accomplished woman who I was really thinking about supporting at the beginning of this, is a caricature of her former self...
ah fuck it, she's acted like an asshole and the chickens have come home to roost...

How can someone that accused the "vast right-wing conspiracy" of fabricating lies join with the man that funded that smear, only to turn around and accuse the left of doing the same thing against her, while lobbing Scaife tactics against her opponent years later?
