Obama's Apathetic Young Voters Who Won't Turn Out
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tj53T7sg3wc&feature=related

(The spontaneous post Philly rally march)

Yeah... those young people are sooo staying home in November. I just laugh whenever I see someone make that argument. This is not like how young voters preferred Kerry last cycle folks, where if you tracked them down and forced them to express an opinion they'd say they'd vote Kerry given the choices. The young voter bloc is fired up for Obama and that's only going to be amplified once he's officially the nominee and his opponent becomes McCain for the presidency instead of Clinton for the nomination.

Just thought I'd throw that out there. That combined with the ridiculously effective GOTV program Obama has been building across the country is going to do some very impressive things come election day.

7. The Youth DID turn out to VOTE for Kerry, in Ohio they WERE there
Although Blackwell made sure there weren't enough machines to use. Apparently the CorpoMedia still likes to spread the disinfo that they didn't show up, but that is propaganda.

I'm sure they WILL be voting ELECTION DAY.

9. Maybe...
...but in either case, the way they'll turn out for Obama is on a whole other level.

13. I think the supers aren't brain dead...
...and agree with your statement 100%. There is no chance in hell they can give this to Hillary if she doesn't come out of the primaries and caucuses ahead, and it is effectively guaranteed that she will not.

12. The caucus I attended here in Lawrence, Kansas, was packed with
college students. They had to stand outside for 45-90 minutes in freezing rain just to get in to sign up. Then they had to wait around until after 9:00 before the caucusing began, even though they all had school the next day. By the time we got out, the rain had turned into a blinding blizzard, with horrendous winds creating practically zero visibility.

The caucuses all over our county had to be moved because the turnout was so huge that the original sites were nowhere near big enough to hold them. One site even had to open a satellite site to fit in the overflow.

The site I was at had, the Douglas County Fairgrounds, about 2700 people. Nearly 2000 of those were for Obama. The same ratio was shown all over Kansas, which he swept by huge margins.

I am thinking those kids who went through that to caucus for Obama are going to show up to vote for him in the fall.

I went to caucus for Edwards. When we didn't acheive viability, I switched to Obama. Now the more I see and hear him (and the more I read his boosk), the more impressed I am with him. I honestly don't beleive that anyone could read his autobiography and then claim in good faith he is not sincere or "real." Nor could they believe him to be arrogant.

14. No flippin WAY are they missing it, my daughter, aged 24 is writing her
Master's Thesis and still doing clinicals and ending classes in Philly, but she called voter's registration in her county and got an absentee ballot so SHE could vote in the primary.

These kids are fired up and READY TO GO!

We are SO going to prove the haters wrong.

They FEAR the youth movement.

17. I'm nineteen years old. I promise you that, if Obama is the nominee, then...
... I will bring at least ten other teenagers and post-teens with me to the ballot on election day.

If Clinton is the nominee, on the other hand, I'd have to pinch my nose, let alone force the stench on anyone else. Too civil for it.
