Not one Senator....and the Wes Clark /Michael Moore Bait and
Edited on Tue Jun-29-04 08:02 PM by deminflorida
Switch.

Not one Senator. Not one as pointed out by Michael Moore's latest documentary "Fahrenheit 911".

Where were they when we needed them???

Kerry, Edwards, Dashael, Gephardt, Graham, Biden, Clinton, Lieberman, Kennedy????

Where were they when we needed them?

Did Clark abandon Moore when he called Bush a deserter?

Answer: NO - He said Michael Moore has a right to say what ever he wants as a citizen. Had Moore not made this statement the White House would have never released the Bush National Guard attendance documentation with the most increminating evidence of the movie blacked out.

Now ask yourselves and look deeply into your hearts:

Who should be on the ticket???

1. hey I like him.
Everything I've read by Wes Clark has been intelligent and well thought out, and I am not just talking (mainly not) what is known as the national security issues. The man thinks and has a bit of integrity.

13. Me too!
But only as second choice. I much prefer Dean to Edwards.

I thought people decided not to put Dean on the ticket because he didn't have foreign policy experience! Well...neither does Edwards!

OK, OK, I know, I know, all the other reasons so don't bother telling me again...heard them all! :boring: I just want to cheer on Dean...he woke up our party! Let's hear it for Dean! :bounce::beer:

10. I still go to Dean meetups
(now Democracy for America) and my car has a bumpersticker. I don't unfortunately see him as Vice President -- but maybe a cabinet position or at least the chairman of a commission.

3. The senators probably believed that a Bush
presidency would be similar to the presidency of Gerald Ford. Ho Hum nothing much happening. I truly believe that if they knew that Bush would turn these four years into a neo-con orgy, there would have been mayhem in the Senate. As far as Clark is concerned, this what a man looks and sounds like when he hasn't been corrupted by power.

15. Which is why I love him so
Yes, he's brilliant.
Yes, he's a dedicated public servant.
Yes, he's got gravitas.
Yes, he's a Southerner - with Northern and Jewish roots.
Yes, he's a sage.
Yes, he's handsome.
Yes, he has a fantastic wife and family.

But the No. 1 reason I support Wesley K. Clark is because he is not corrupted by power - even though he's had it - and I love him all the more for it.

11. I think maybe Clinton doesn't belong on your list
Wasn't she elected in 2000? I think the election stuff was handled by the existing congress, not the incoming congress.

12. Clark is a stand up guy.
Edited on Tue Jun-29-04 09:22 PM by in_cog_ni_to
An honorable man. I don't think he would have sat there and watched that fiasco in the Senate...no way. Not Wes Clark.

He stood by Michael Moore and Michael Moore is, like you said, the man who got the chimps Guard records released and Moore is also the guy who endorsed Wes Clark. Look at what Moore has done for our country, AGAIN.

Looking in my heart, I think Wes Clark should be on the ticket.
