I spoke to a guy I attend church with yesterday. He is bitter about a few things.
1. He is bitter about his wife being sick all the time because he cannot afford his medical bills. So he clings to religion hoping it will bring healing to his wives condition. The democratic parties solution: Let's fix the health care system. 2. He is bitter about not getting paid enough for his job. So he hangs on the fact that illegal immigrants are taking all the jobs and they should be sent back home. Although I did discover he has not been out of a job for more than a month in his adult life. The democratic parties solution: Let's stop sending high paying jobs overseas. 3. He is bitter about non-white people coming to live in the USA. So he blames the American government for letting people become citizens who want to "kill Americans". He also feels these people who become citizens do not vote for the right people so that is why we have the problems in this country. The democratic parties solution: Lets bring back the fairness doctrine and stop hate mongers from spreading these lies without opposition.
These people will always vote for the person who tells them that they are anti-gays, anti-immigrants, anti-gun control, ant-flag burning etc. It is the republican party way and it is destroying our way of life. When will these people that they are being cattle herded by the republican party.

1. Everyone knows Obama was right... |

...they just don't like to admit how horribly they use the citizens of the country and then just throw them away.

Thing is for all of the broughahah Obama's comments created, it seems highly unlikely to me that people like that guy in church would be voting for Hillary either.
She won't win these people over by telling them they aren't bitter. They have been told by RW talk radio that they are bitter and that message is reinforced by Republicans to win votes.
