1. The main ones I want asked are.
Edited on Mon Apr-21-08 10:39 AM by Zachstar
The main ones I want asked are.

Why did she talk about putting an umbrella over the middle east. Does she realize this is more interventionist as Bush?

What was her grounds for telling Bill to "Screw em" For a certain voter type?

Why did she flip flop on MoveOn?

Will she fully apologize for her IWR vote?

Why did she vote against bans on Cluster bombs in noncombatant filled areas?

Why do people need to pay a penalty if they do not get health insurance? Why the enforcement?

What is her views on the upcoming hearing that could end up as a trial?

The way a candidate runs a campaign says anything about managerial skills?

Why did you sit down with Scaife after his smear campaign against your husband and why didn't you reject his endorsement?

Why haven't you fired Mark Penn?

3. Why hasn't she fired Penn? Why is she using Karl Rove as an advisor? Why doesn't she pay her bills??
Just a few for starters. How about her Norman Hsu connections, or Dubai and Saudi money connections. More importantly how about asking about "The family and Coe"

If you so badly misunderstood the situation at that time, how can voters trust you to get your facts straight before casting such important votes in the future?

First I want to say that I hope KO is a journalist first and not some lay back softball infomercial like Larry King.

I personally believe that Keith will look at this opportunity to really be a journalist that makes a difference. If Keith really hits Hillary hard with fair substantive questions that many of us want answers to he would seriously be looked at as the most consummate journalist of our time.

Does anyone have a link to Keith where we can email him?

Could you please elaborate on exactly what Political Issues this "Activist Base" stands for, that you do not find yourself in agreement with?

17. She herself said in a recent stump speech that you can judge what a person WILL do
Edited on Mon Apr-21-08 10:59 AM by rainbow4321
by what they HAVE DONE.
She has grossly mismanaged her money:

1) Not paying local school districts for their facility use (per her past FEC debt list),

2) Left small businesses with outstanding bills (Iowa grocery store Hy Vee was on her list for 2 months with her unpaid grocery bill), one buisness (event planner, I believe--called "Forty Two"?) even sent her a certified letter requesting payment and they never heard back.

3) At one point owed Blue Cross/Shield and Aetna each close to $250,000 (meanwhile over at the Obama camp his TOTAL debt for that month was only $600,000)---imagine if the average American let his/her premium bills unpaid (especially under her proposed health care plan)

All these small businesses and tax payers footing her campaign bill but, by gosh, Mark Penn's firm gets HIS $2 million+ bill paid each month. Why not tell HIM, "I can only give you 1 million this month so I can pay off the business owners, tax payers, my people's health insurance premiums". (sidenote: the current FEC list has Blue Cross/Shield no where to be found--did they dump her or she dump them?)

Misspeak vs covering her ass

She lied over and over again about Bosnia not just ONCE but multiple times..at one point (on video) stated "the little girl was there waiting on me, I couldn't just run by her" So instead of hurting the girl's feelings you wanted her dead from "sniper fire"????

We've seen what she HAS done, we really don't need any more proof of what she WILL do.

112. He could do a two hour special with her and still not have room for all the
damaging questions.

And just to correct my post, she still has Blue Cross/Blue Shield..couldn't find it at first.

But it is still bad news to her financially... While she actually PAID all of her premiums to both BCBS and Aetna for a change, the grand total is just under $500,000. Again, like previous months, those two bills ALONE are almost equal to Obama's **total** debt of $600,000.

It's called E-X-P-O-S-U-R-E

and when you can get some F-R-E-E E-X-P-O-S-U-R-E on a highly rated show with a H-U-G-E following the day before a big election then I think as a candidate you jump at that chance.

SO, if KO asks her the Tough Questions, her supporters will immediately make a Bitch-O-Rama out of blog sites like this blasting us with repeated threads about "hatched job" and "KO biased against Clinton" and "KO hates women" and endless other baseless accusations like that, and of course the media will parrot most of it.

TO the contrary, if KO takes some measure of pity on her and simply throws her "softballs", her supporters will immediately make a Brag-O-Rama out of blog sites like this, blasting us with repeated threads about "Hillary took on the dark lord and won" and "the Truth wins out, Hillary KO's KO" and other equally ridiculous notions like that, and once again the media will parrot most of it.

So you can see, there is little benefit in her NOT going on Olbermann, and plenty of "spin" and E-X-P-O-S-U-R-E to go around because of it.

Attempts at moving the party toward the right (DLC)

DLC ties with PNAC (HRC voted with * in IWR and Kyl Lieberman)

Al From is founder and chief executive officer of the Democratic Leadership Council (DLC), a dynamic idea action center of the "Third Way" governing philosophy that is reshaping progressive politics in the United States and around the globe. He is also chairman of the Third Way Foundation and publisher of the DLC's flagship bi-monthly magazine, Blueprint: Ideas for a New Century.

As a founder of the DLC -- birthplace of the New Democrat movement and the Third Way in America -- and its companion think tank, the Progressive Policy Institute (PPI), From leads a national movement that since the mid-1980s has provided both the action agenda and the ideas for New Democrats to successfully challenge the conventional political wisdom in America and, in the process, redefine the center of the Democratic Party.

Will Marshall, the head of PPI signed PNAC letters.
(Called "Bill Clinton's idea mill," the Progressive Policy Institute was responsible for many of the Clinton administration's initiatives...)
Starting right after 9/11.

Along with such neocon stalwarts as Robert Kagan, Bruce Jackson, Joshua Muravchik, James Woolsey, and Eliot Cohen, a half-dozen Democrats were among the 23 individuals who signed PNAC's first letter on post-war Iraq. Among the Democrats were Ivo Daalder of the Brookings Institution and a member of Clinton's National Security Council staff; Martin Indyk, Clinton's ambassador to Israel; Will Marshall of the Progressive Policy Institute and Democratic Leadership Council; Dennis Ross, Clinton's top adviser on the Israel-Palestinian negotiations; and James Steinberg, Clinton's deputy national security adviser and head of foreign policy studies at Brookings.

You mocked Obama for his words after the ABC debate, quoting Harry Truman, "If you cant stand the heat, then get out of the kitchen." Your husband mocked Obama, saying that he has been whining about the debate and you have never done that. Then why did you complain at a debate on this network about always getting the first question? Is there a double standard?

56. Please, please ask this: Could you explain EXACTLY how
you think you could win more delegates and more popular vote to overtake Obama? If
she starts digressing into electoral votes, you never know what can happen, blah
blah blah -- PIN her down. Ask her to explain the numbers. Make her say that
they only way she can do it is for Obama to take a major, major fall - like
finding a dead hooker in his campaign bus.

57. Her stance on social security and "personal savings accounts"
Edited on Mon Apr-21-08 11:57 AM by me b zola
Hillary has got everybody bamboozled about her stance on social security when in fact she is heading the dlc's effort to push the same plan that the republicans were pushing 2 years ago--before they got smacked down by the public.

http://www.ppionline.org/ndol/ndol_ci.cfm?kaid=85&subid=108&contentid=253475

http://www.dlc.org/ndol_ci.cfm?contentid=253993&kaid=86&subid=194
When another poster and myself began posting about HRC's social security policy, the 'American Dream Initiative' wording on the dlc website changed it's wording. At first it touted "personal savings accounts"--sound familiar? Then another poster and myself began to post about it and now that language has disappeared.

Anyone who believes that Hillary will not continue the economic policies of the the rw (read, corporate America) is either ill-informed or kidding themselves.

97. Here's my list
First question:
The White House has released records proving that you (Hillary) supported NAFTA while First Lady. (show records) This doesn't jibe with your comment here (play video of her saying she never supported NAFTA)
So which Hillary am I to believe?

Second question:
You (Hillary) voted for the China MFN trade bill that your husband signed into law in 2000. This has caused thousands of jobs to be lost in Pennsylvania. You have condemned China for trade practices that you voted for.
So which Hillary am I to believe?

Third question:
You brought up Louis Farrakkan in the last debate as a point against Barack Obama (play clip). Did you know that one of your major surrogates in Pennsylvania, Ed Rendell, has gladly supported Louis Farrakkan? (play video) Will you now condemn Ed Rendell here for those people who would be offended by his endorsement?

Fourth question:
Let's watch this. (Play multiple clips of Hillary talking about sniper fire in Bosnia followed by footage of her in Bosnia with daughter) If you would be the nominee, you have to know that this footage will be used over and over again by John McCain to show how untrustworthy you are. Here is a recent poll showing how you are viewed as untrustworthy by 70% of people. How are you going to sell yourself as trustworthy and change those negative numbers if you are the nominee?

Fifth question:
You brought up Barack Obama's kindergarten paper as an issue during this campaign. (show web site with the text of the "issue") It has been considered one of the lowest of campaign tricks in recent Presidential politics. Do you still consider using that as an issue and are you willing to apologize to Barack Obama if you think it was a cheap shot?

Sixth question:
The Clinton records have been released and there is still $18 million unaccounted for. What do you think that means and where do you think the money came from?

106. Clinton, you mentioned shaking Martin Luther King, Jr.'s hand when you were 14
Edited on Mon Apr-21-08 01:34 PM by Truth Hurts A Lot
Can you give us more details about how you shook Martin Luther King's hand? How did that come about? Is there anyone who can provide witness to your story?

-Why did you become a GOLDWATER GIRL afterwards? Did meeting MLK have no effect on you?

-Can you expound on the ethics of defending known pedophile rapists? Should young girls be protected from aggressive defense attorneys who wish to imply that the child asked for it?

-What will you do to advance the rights of women in this country and around the world?

-Do you feel that it's your turn to be president? Why do you take credit for Bill's accomplishments but distance yourself from his failures?

Fair game:

-Why aren't you putting more money into your own campaign? Why do you pay yourself back first before paying any of the other hardworking, less fortunate vendors?

-Why do you accuse Obama of doing the very things that you do? Why is it so hard for you to take the high road?

-You said Obama had a choice about his church, didn't you have a choice about staying with your serial womanizer husband? What did your campaign staff member mean when she said that Bill was put on a woman diet last year?

-Why did you invite Rev. Wright to the White House during Monica-gate?

-Why did you start SMILING when you said the the IWR vote was the hardest vote you've ever had to make? Why does that same smile seem to appear whenever you are bullshitting us?

Ok, not the most neutral website but if the quotes are accurate at all..

http://www.againsthillary.com/2007/07/19/hillary-clinton-in-quotes/#more-1116

"We just can't trust the American people to make those types of choices…. Government has to make those choices for people"
(From the book "I've Always Been A Yankee Fan" by Thomas D. Kuiper, p 20 - Hillary to Rep. Dennis Hastert in 1993 discussing her expensive, disastrous taxpayer-funded health care plan)

“I pledge allegiance to the America that can be.” —Hillary Clinton, reluctant to say the Pledge of Allegiance, according to Chris Matthews

"We must stop thinking of the individual and start thinking about what is best for society."

"Why do I have to keep proving to people that I am not a liar?!"(From the book "The Survivor," by John Harris, p. 382 - Hillary in her 2000 Senate campaign)
