terrorism to bomb Pakistan without notifying the Pakistan government? You know invade a sovereign nation like someone else we know?

40. horse shit isn't profanity.
It is what the candidate espouses. Unity, change and all that happy horse shit. See. Not so bad but if that is all you can do as a come back, peace. he did say he would bomb Pakistan without getting approval of US or Pakistan governments. You should take it up with the candidate of unity, change , and all that happy horse shit if you have issue with it.

41. The point was that "nastiness didn't require profanity" ...
... and I wasn't referring to your "horseshit" post. (Though "horseshit" *is* profane; just as "shit" would be.)

Nastiness can be communicated through deliberate distortion and abusive phrasing, as demonstrated by your initial post on this branch.

I must have missed that, I thought he said to bomb terrorist threats in Pakistan if the government was unable/unwilling to do so... can you provide a link or something so that I can check it out? Thanks.

28. that is taking what he said out of context...
he has said that he would work with the local governments and if they were unable or unwilling to take action that "we" would. That is much different than saying we will "bomb Pakistan without notifying the Pakistan government."

She knows that if she cant keep it Above 5 in PA her fundraising will tank and she will lose super delegates.

She knows this is going to BADLY backfire on her going into May but she is hoping it goes away by then like 3AM has to an extent.

Tho in my view she is setting herself up for a BIG loss come May 6th!

The fear and terra card once again utilized by the Clinton campaign to attack a fellow Democrat. Sheesh!!!

She really wants progressives to hate her with a passion. I can stand to even look at her anymore. That smirk makes me want to throw my TV.

Fear, Terra, War, Chaos, 'massive retaliation,' etc. She is the Goddess of War. She covets war and chaos.

22. A hypothetical -- or maybe not so hypothetical
Let's assume that Obama gets the nomination. Then the question for Ms. Entitlement becomes, "What are my options for becoming President now?"

A) With her negatives, an independent campaign in 2008 is out of the question unless she just wants to keep Obama from winning. I doubt she would do that. Not because she gives a shit about anybody but herself, but because she is already deeply in debt and wouldn't get much financial support for a splinter campaign. So let's rule that out.

B) Here's a real long shot. The actuarial tables are working against McCain. If he makes it to November, the odds of him making it to 2012 aren't all that great. Could she be jockeying for a VP spot with McCain?

I'll grant you that sounds far fetched. Again, not because she wouldn't do it. We all know she'd do it in a heartbeat. the problem is the GOP base. They have gotten into such a habit of despising her. Hard to change that in 6 months. So I'd say that isn't going to happen.

C) The next best strategy is to do everything possible to derail Obama's campaign against McCain, leaving the field open for her to run as a Democrat in 2012. If that isn't her game plan, she surely could have fooled most of us.

But that doesn't fully explain "terra, terra, terra" as well as the Clintons' new-found fondness for Limbaugh and Fox. That brings up scenario D)

D) The odds are good that Obama will beat McCain in 2008. And if that happens, the odds are also good he could be an 8-year President. By 2016, she is washed up. Talk about Clinton fatigue, nobody wants to see her in 2016.

So if that premise has merit -- and it seems to -- that reveals what might be the true strategy. She is posturing to run in 2012 AS A REPUBLICAN.

McCain will be history by then, at least figuratively, if not literally. That leaves, what, Romney, and the only returnee of substance who is not a complete wacko. Maybe she has looked at that scenario and concluded that is her best, and really ONLY, chance at the Presidency before she leaves this trail of tears.

I realize that sounds really twisted. Yes it is, and it explains her campaign strategy very cleanly. Admittedly it is an uphill battle winning over the millions of Republicans who despise her. But you have heard the old adage, "politics makes strange bedfellows."

Don't assume anything. Consider everything.

27. Here's an idea for a Barack ad...
...that would make Hillary shit in her pants. Show the flag-draped coffins of soldiers killed in Iraq arriving back in the US, and have the narrator say, "She had what it takes to vote for this."
The Rethugs uses ads like that against Dems, so I guess it's all right to use an ad like that against Hillary, since she is so obviously a Republican.
Of course, the Obama campaign would never stoop that low, but sometimes I honestly wish they would. Her Iraq vote is going to destroy her eventually, either that or her campaign debts.

34. THAT'S what all the fuss is about?
Cripes, I thought at the very least Obama's picture would be thrown in with Bin Ladin's given the level of upset being expressed toward this ad. So pictures associated with about 10 of America's major crisis points since WWII get flashed across the screen, including Bin Ladin, followed by midwestern floods and Hurricane Katrina, and this is supposed to be some really evil ad?

Obama is not even mentioned by name, just the comments "you have to be ready for everything" and "if you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen". It's fucking true. Both Clinton and Obama are running for President of the United States, it's not an easy job. It is open to debate whether Clinton or Obama is better prepared to deal with emergencies should they happen, but to scream TERRA TERRA TERRA! over this ad is stupid. Things do go wrong in the world. Every President tends to get hit with a major crisis, if not two or three. It is a legitimate aspect of the "job interview" who will be able to handle an unexpected crisis better. This was not a focus on Bin Ladin, and aftger 911 to not include some reference to terrorism in the context of the broad range of challenges America has faced would have been foolish and dishonest.
