Using Farrakhan Against ANYONE is sorta creepy. |
|
He's not exactly been selected as someone's runningmate, forgodssakes.
This BLATANTLY plays into rascism and appeals to the worst in white people.

1. The relationship that Obama has to Farrakhan is through his Pastor.... |
|
the fact that his pastor knows Farrahkan. Wright isn't running either, but you would never know it by listening to weeks and weeks of blatant propaganda.
To believe that Hillary sat on the stage and requested, and her campaign sat on the phone talking to meda requesting that the media seek answers to Obama's (non existent) ties to Farrakhan, when Obama doesn't really know him is what is creepy. Hillary asked that Obama renounce and denounce Farrakhan at a debate. He did....although he didn't really have any ties to him.
Just like the fact that Rev. Wright was sitting next to Hillary Clinton at the WH during Bill's Monica Hour of prayer and need breakfast, yet she has never mentioned that he was there is also creepy.
The racism that appeals to White People has been played by the Hillary campaign.
The fact that it is finally being reported that they obviously used the racism White People have against Farrakhan to try to make Obama look less patriotic is what is creepy.
Hillary Clinton is creepy Ed Rendell is creepy

out that Farrakhan called Judaism a "gutter religion" and called Jews "bloodsuckers". If Sen Obama had not denounced him, there was no way I would have voted for him. But since he has, I don't have that problem. Farrakhan is a pig.

14. No - I didn't mean to imply that |
|
Just that mccain could sup with Satan and I wouldn't give a shit - there is no way he would get my vote. Sen Obama and Sen Clinton on the other hand would have to step up on the issue before I could vote for either one. That's all I'm saying.

And if the media continues to give him a free pass, that's our first 527 ad. The Catholic vote has been a swing vote for several elections - his humping for the support of someone who called the church the whore of babylon is very relevant.

12. Why did Hillary try to use it against Obama? |
|
When her main ally in PA praised Farrakhan & Nation of Islam to the skies with Farrakhan in attendance.
The issue is Clinton's hypocrisy.

20. What 'connection'?... |
|
Edited on Mon Apr-21-08 02:22 PM by stillcool47
Do you mean because the guy made an unsolicited endorsement? Hillary chose to smear Senator Obama for something that he had no control over. Quite a bit different from Governor Rendell, Hillary's good buddy, applauding Farakhan's good works. Is he a terrorist when he endorses Obama, and 'no big deal' when he's honored by Rendell?

9. I don't see how it plays into racism. |
|
Farrakhan has repeatedly shown himself to be a bigot. I do agree it's sorta creepy as he's unconnected with either candidate, except in the most tangential of ways.

What's good for the goose is good for the gander. The Clintonistas cannot possibly use it against Obama, due to Wright's connection with Obama and Farrakhan, without bringing up the issue of her own surrogate's support of him as well.
