Tomorrow when the totes (touch-screen votes) come in overwhelmingly for the status quo candidate, it will be too late. We have been touched by hope and that is an experience that is not soon forgotten.
In Denver when the status quo cronies explain to us that the credential process has determined that their candidate has won the nomination, it will be too late. We have reforged the sword of our party in the fire of our burning desire for change.
And in November, and other Novembers to come, when the corporate media decrees the continued worsening corrosive bureaucracy, it will be too late. For we will hold on to the memory of a voice calling us to do what we know is so desperately needed, and we will realize that it is not him but only ourselves that can draw the weapon of our redemption.
