They're getting ready to cancel the election....
For over a year I've been saying that if the Bush Administration has to MIHOP another terrorist attack in order to cancel the elections and stay in power, they will.

And people said I was crazy, that not even the Bush Administration would be so foul.

Well, it looks like I am still batting 1.000 (emphases mine):

Voting Official Seeks Terrorism Guidelines

By ERICA WERNER, Associated Press Writer

WASHINGTON - The government needs to establish guidelines for canceling or rescheduling elections if terrorists strike the United States again, says the chairman of a new federal voting commission.

Such guidelines do not currently exist, said DeForest B. Soaries, head of the voting panel.

Soaries was appointed to the federal Election Assistance Commission last year by President Bush. Soaries said he wrote to National Security (news - web sites) Adviser Condoleezza Rice (news - web sites) and Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge in April to raise the concerns.

"I am still awaiting their response," he said. "Thus far we have not begun any meaningful discussion." Spokesmen for Rice and Ridge did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

4. I agree.
These motherCheneys are getting too cocky for their own good. They are seriously underestimating the American people, and how much we will stand for.

I truly believe that this admin intentionally ignored warnings before 9/11 because they knew the massive political gain they would get when the attack came. And I truly believe that when the truth comes out, whenever that is, that the Republican party will cease to exist.
