Robocall observations
So far today we received one robocall from Hillary Clinton (her voice) and one from Barack Obama (his voice).

At the end of Obama's call he said, "If you need a ride to the polls, call this number (I forget the number). He also gave a web site address.

Nothing like that from Hillary Clinton. It's a shame for her campaign. There are plenty of Senior Citizens who are supposed to be voting for her and many no longer drive.

1. Obama has always has a better ground campaign.
It's another of those old-school vs new-school things.

2. It's impressive!
I worked on a Congressional candidate campaign in CA in 2004 and attended a GOTV seminar. It's nice to see it work the way it's supposed to :hi:.

3. It's hecka good to do this as a part of your GOTV efforts
On the last two election days that I ran GOTV for numerous precincts, we gave lots and lots of rides to voters. It not only shows good community involvement, but, it gets people to the polls who otherwise wouldn't vote! During our calls, we would ask, "Do you need a ride?" You would be surprised how many people do, and how many would sit home and not vote when they don't have rides.

8. I haven't heard that one either
Just her voice today and over the weekend there was a robocall in support of her but it was general.

We did receive two Obama calls over the weekend in which I spoke to live people :-).
