1. I don't know. Probably, though.
It's a good bet, given the number of Obama supporters.

Dodd, Richardson, or Feingold.

38. I think it would be a clusterf@ck of biblical proportions
no, really, I do, here's why:

She's already demonstrated she is better at sabotaging her own campaign than running against someone else's. Who would want such an albatross? not to mention her husband is completely an uncontrollable loose cannon.

She's burned bridges against high ranking dems in her search for power....essentially burning some pretty major bridges -- what that means is Obama will have to waste a lot of time in damage control to get those people back in the fold

she has higher negatives than any other candidate. Having her in the VP slot will not help (have I mentioned albatross yet?)

and, the most important thing is a VP has to be willing to humble themselves for the good of the party. I don't think she's capable, at this point, of doing that. she's painted herself into a political corner. she's ended her own career.

why put radioactive waste in your shorts? Politically, that would the analogy to having her on the ticket.

Plus, I think he's a lot smarter than that. He'd get someone with ACTUAL experience.

I read/heard an expert say that would be TWO glass ceilings the Dems would have to break to win the GE. It might help her with Dems, but not with cross-over voters who might vote for one or the other, but not both.

That's my feeling about an Obama/Richardson ticket by the way.

there are much better people out there in the VP pool to choose from. She is vitriolistic and would immediately solidify the neocon base against Obama. He doesn't need the Clintons (they need him, but tough break there, eh?). What he should have is an experienced guy who appeals to the moderates as well as the dems. Someone with a lot fo foreign policy know how. I nominate Joe Biden. And Bill Richardson would make an excellent Secretary of State.

90. so you think that Obama supporters would abandon him if Clinton was on the ticket?
I think that the majority of us prefer someone else (Richardson or Edwards for me) but i don't think that Obama would lose support by having Clinton on the ticket-- and i think that many of the "I will never vote for Obama" Clinton supporters would be more likely to support the so called "Unity" ticket.

92. I just don't understand how pissing off virtually your entire base is "bringing the party together".
... If that WERE "bringing the party together", then I suppose Clinton would be the biggest "uniter" in party history. hahaha!

99. i didn't realize that this would be pissing off virtually his entire base...
i do not speak for his entire base, and i did not base my opinion on what the other 80 people said... you asked for opinions of Obama supporters and i gave mine. you don't have to agree and i may be wrong but its still my opinion. Also, i don't think that this would make Clinton the biggest uniter in history, i think it would make Obama the "uniter" since it is his decision.

I don't know how sincere their pledges to each other could be, but hell, if they're willing to try, I think they could still dominate.

No way! She would probably still drag Obama down so she can give it another try in 4 years like she is doing right now. Hate to tell her (actually i would love to tell her) but she has no chance in 4 years either. She is done just like Kerry and with the help of her.

She's on the ticket so she'll still drive-out the anti-Clinton vote (many of whom are also the soft on McCain, may show up to vote).

Then again, if she's not on the ticket, the 28 percenters will vote for McCain.
