Dave Matthews Band holding benefit for Kerry July 8th, NYC... |

We are pleased to announce that Dave Matthews Band will perform on July 8th at the New York City Concert benefiting the "Kerry Victory Committee 2004" at Radio City Music Hall. The Kerry Campaign and Democratic National Committee have also confirmed performances by Mary J. Blige, John Mellencamp, Jon Bon Jovi, and Wyclef Jean.
Speaking about the upcoming concert, Dave Matthews said, "Whether one is talking about the economy or the environment, jobs, workers' rights or education, national security or the war on terror, John Kerry is the only choice. A vote for John Kerry is a vote for a stronger, safer, better America."
TICKETING INFORMATION: In New York, designated sections of Radio City Music Hall will be open to the general public for the event. Tickets for the New York concert are now on sale for $250 and $500. They can be purchased by calling Ticketmaster at (212) 307-7171 and Disabled Patrons at (212) 465-6034. For more information, visit www.dnc.org.

...special promotions, advance ticket sales with special preference seating, etc. Guess not!
I have never sat any further back than the 9th row at any concert of theirs...the advance ticketing is AWESOME~

..Dave Matthews isn't holding the benefit, they are performing at the 'Concert for Kerry' (similar to what they had in CA). I hear Whoopi Goldberg will also be there.

...GREAT SHOW, which is why I have been to so many...and I am pushing age 40 (actually, same age as Dave).
Used to see them in the clubs in Virginia...tremendous talent.
