Are you ready for some football?
I believe that this is the only time in our lifetimes that the primary here will be this meaningful. I for one, wonder if anyone knows what's going to happen tomorrow. I know dozens and dozens of folks who are STILL UNDECIDED. Never ever do I recall this occurring here in any race this close to the election. Good luck to us all tomorrow and into November and beyond.
On edit: I'm going to bed, so I can watch the assholes all night tomorrow. Why, I don't know...
I just blew a post on this stupid thread...shit.

I agree, I will vote on my way home from work tomorrow (night shift). My mind was made up a long time ago so the presidential is academic, its the local elections that are actually more important.

All day long.
3 R's and a Clinton supporter will be there, along with whatever watchers the campaigns send. Sigh.
The good news is that I expect it will be pretty busy all day long, and with voters inside we can't talk about the candidates. Thank God.
I will be glad when it's over. Hoping for the best, but at this point, OVER will do.
Edit to add: I'll be heading to bed very shortly too. Oh-dark-thirty wakeup call tomorrow.

I just finished a nice cup of chamomile tea with honey. :)
Time to go crawl in before the effect wears off.
Good luck tomorrow!

Finally made up my mind today, being one of those undecided white males they've been yacking about in the media these last six weeks.
Come November, I support either candidate so he or she can win the White House and nominate the right people to the federal judiciary.

I voted for Clinton. When Obama predicted yesterday at the eleventh hour that Clinton would win the Pennsylvania primary, I took that as a sign of weakness. I abhor weakness. Political races are to win, and for Obama to say he probably won't win Pennsylvania undermines the efforts and faith of all his amazing supporters who closed Clinton's double-digit lead in six weeks.
Moral victories aren't worth shit. Just ask President Kerry.

Things are ON THE MOVE.
Determined-looking people carrying signs and walking quickly and with purpose. Wotta day this is going to be down here.
Occasionally on election day there's an unusually horrible anti-abortion group who shows up around the Art Museum Circle, with all kinds of grotesque post-op pics. Hopefully, that won't happen today but there were some RW anti-Hillaryites wtih the usual Vince Foster Posters, etc.

heading out to vote and get the vote out!
inspiring piece by Arundhati Roy
Our strategy should be not only to confront empire, but to lay siege to it. To deprive it of oxygen. To shame it. To mock it. With our art, our music, our literature, our stubbornness, our joy, our brilliance, our sheer relentlessness– and our ability to tell our own stories. Stories that are different from the ones we’re being brainwashed to believe. The corporate revolution will collapse if we refuse to buy what they’re selling– their ideas, their version of history, their wars, their weapons, their notion of inevitability. Remember this: We be many and they be few. They need us more than we need them. Another world is not only possible, she is on her way. On a quiet day, I can hear her breathing.
