HILLARY Clinton brought her message for change to Happy Valley last night, attracting a smaller-than-expected crowd to Rec Hall.



She urged those in attendance to ask themselves: “Who would I hire to do the toughest job in the world?”

Her visit served to end a huge Blue/White weekend in Happy Valley, as fans lucked out with perfect weather on Saturday and 73,000 of them flocked to Beaver Stadium for the scrimmage.

Politics and football mixed in the parking lots, and perhaps many were talking about Hillary Clinton's visit the next day.

The surprise was the turnout, only 1.500 at a place where former President Bill Clinton drew an overflowing crowd just weeks ago.

Political burnout? Blue/white weekend fatigue?
