Tomorrow will prove how weak one of our candidates is in the GE |
|
Went into state +26... won +10 Went into state +16... won +3 Went into state +24... lost -11 Went into Pennsylvania +24... won +9?
This candidate will have to go into every state s/he hopes to win with a +15 advantage because s/he cannot hold onto a lead.
Think this argument is stupid? Ya, it's about as stupid as every other GE argument.

1. Off the top of my head I'm guessing your talking about |
|
Texas, Ohio and Wisconsin being the first three you mentioned. Then again I'd have to look it up to be sure.

2. Another story will be that money couldn't buy Obama love, if he doesn't win |
|
He sure spent a lot of money and ran a lot of ads.

4. Obama cut down hillarys 28 point lead.... |
|
How is that anything but a native for her?
She went 10 million in the red attacking him, and STILL lost ground to him in a big way.
Anything less than a 15-20 point victory for hillary is a loss in terms of the delegate count.
A HUGE win in PA was her last hope for victory.
Winning by 5 to 10 points... she gets no delegate boost and no momentum moving into states where Obama already has a huge lead.

7. I know what you're saying, but the perception will be that tons of charisma and cash came up short |

8. There has never been talk of him winning PA. It has always been about the margin. |

6. Well, 5 months ago no one knew who he was, running against a |
|
20 POINT favorite, who owns a 20 year head start in the public's eye....
Clinton is a household name, Obama had the middle name issue the Wright issue and all the other fake problems the media has anointed him with he's STILL competitive and just might win.
Too bad Hill can't make enough money to get bills paid and create a few ads, maybe she could put him away.

3. You are comparing apples and oranges |
|
A primary win has little to do with how a candidate will do in the general election.
Case in point: Who won the 2004 Democratic primaries in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Texas, Mississippi, Lousiana, Alabama, Arkansas, Missouri, Indiana, Virginia, Kentucky, and Tennessee? And who ended up taking those states in the general election?
