At my polling site in Allentown. Another site that serves Muhlenberg College students apparently had lines earlier.

6. Surely you mean
8am. Unless you voted last night. Or have time traveled back from this evening, and voted after the polls closed? At least I'm thinking they close at 7pm.

3. Very slow, actually
I was thinking we'd have presidential-election level crowds but it looked more like a typical primary day--slow. They had barely hit 30 voters by 8:00. I suspect this is good for Obama because I vote in a rural district that is expected to go heavily for Hillary.

4. I was 29th at my polling place by 7:20 AM. (Southeast PA)
The poll workers were talking about the large turnout of democrats, and spoke of possibly needing more ballots.

5. I was 21
in my area at 7:20 am. There was a line to the left of me A-L of about 20 people but I was the only one in the M-Z line.

I live in a Hillary area. There wasnt even a Obama sign out front of the building. Makes me mad because I could have put on there had I thought ahead. I put 4 signs out around our area on Sunday. By Monday 3 were gone. : (

Damn Rednecks!

10. 48th about 8:45am in "Bitter" McKeesport
Edited on Tue Apr-22-08 09:30 AM by RamboLiberal
Thanks for nothing Dana Milbank for searching out the racist idiots here and for your drive by journalism. BTW, McKeesport is very much a mixed race old steel town city now. Lot of elderly whites (and blacks) as well. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/04/21/AR2008042102794.html?hpid=topnews And one more message for Milbank - Hillary had a rally here as well Saturday night. From photos of her crowd it looked mostly white if not all white. That is not typical McKeesporter either!

Getting back to the poll. The poll workers were amazed at the turnout so far. No line, but there never is. But there were 3 other people voting at the machines.
