Woke up this morning in South West PA...the sun is shining and
the birds are singing and I have this great feeling of HOPE. Yes, we can!!! Anyway, I have to smile every time I hear PA described as the second oldest voter base in the country and the least educated, perfect for Hillary. Hey, I'm old and a woman and educated and I'm voting for Sen. Obama. I don't mean to be disparaging to the old and uneducated, I'm just sick of hearing PA being described this way.

2. Yes, we do have a beautiful state and one reason we have so
few bachelor degrees is that we do not give our students a break on tuition, as many states do. Also, PHEAA, PA Higher Education Assistance Agency, has turned out to be a rather corrupt agency.

5. my cousin is a professor at Lehigh and lives in Allentown
I've never looked down on Pa. folk as less-educated than any other northeastern state. I'm hoping Obama can pull it out today, but have accepted that he may not.

4. That's very heartwarming, one thing they aren't counting on is the wisdom of time.

6. I have HOPE as well! While I expect the worst because it is a firewall. I hope for the best!
After seeing that slow roll video from Saturday where people drove to the station just to see Obama slow roll by. I just have a feeling that there is lots of Obama support that is just waiting to vote!

Whatever happens today I am glad to see this much spirit about a primary!

7. Thank you Freedom!
I was nearly blinded by blue skies and brilliant sunshine reflecting off the Monongahela as the 44U exited the Liberty Tunnel on the way into work this morning.
I took my 12 and 14 y.o. sons to see Barack and Michelle last night at Pitt. They were full of optimism while this jaded old vet could only think back on disappointments past.
I will follow the lead of my children and Mother Earth and not vote my fears, rather I will vote my HOPE.

11. I am truly excited...
I am the "designated" driver in our area today. I have to pick up a great-grandmother later today, because she told me she does not want to miss the chance to vote for Sen. Obama. She told her entire family is voting for him, and her great-grandchild goes around yelling "Obama, Obama". You gotta love it!!

8. My 85 y/o grandma in Altoona is voting for Obama today.
I see she is in good company! (my mom and dad are too - former Republicans!) I cast my vote here in Texas. It's definitely a beautiful day in Pennsylvania. :hi:

10. It is my fervent HOPE that PA raises up Obama such that this primary ends
and we begin an earnest assault against McCain--we cannot wait, we should not wait, there is nothing to wait for that will promote any better, a return to progressive policies when Obama begins that job. I cannot tolerate this interminable delaying by the HRCs. Enough is enough.

Go Pennsylvania.
