Hillary, you should be fighting for us not against us (today may be the day you need to step aside)

Dear Mrs. Clinton,

Please Help Us. As you well know, today is a very important day in American History. Today will be the day that the people of Pennsylvania will once again make history. Not since 1776, when The First Continental Congress drew up and signed the Declaration of Independence in Philadelphia, have Pennsylvanians had an opportunity to make a change for all Americans....like today.

Today 12 million plus Pennsylvanians will have a chance to vote in the Democratic Primary. Not all 12 million can vote yet and not all 12 million are registered Democrats.... but this year is different. This year more Democrats will vote in a primary since the primary process has taken place. This year more Republicans are changing parties. As well, more young people than ever will be involved... even those that can not vote yet have been influencing their parents to make a difference and vote for change.

Dear Mrs. Clinton, What I am asking of you may be difficult, your are a fighter... some might even call you a warrior. You have spent your whole life making decisions that have shown everybody where your heart is when it comes to American Politics and the American people. Remember, as a Freshman in College when you stepped down as the President of The Wellesley Young Republicans; you did this because of your convictions regarding the American Civil Rights Movement and the Vietnam War. From that point on, your achievements are too numerous to mention, your accomplishments to great. More recently as first Lady and Senator of New York State, you have faced the onslaught of the negative Republican attack machine....like no other. You refused to hide or back away from the negativity, from the forces that wanted to stop the change. Today, we need you to step back and realize something.... we Democrats and we American people are not part of those forces that you and your husband have been fighting for all of those years... we are the ones that you have been fighting for.

Today we ask that if you find yourself feeling that we are speaking to you through our votes, please step down and allow others to carry that torch of change for you. Mr. Barack Obama believes in the same things you do, Mr. Barack Obama has been fighting the same forces that you have during his life as well. Whatever you have decided is the tipping point, whether a loss of 5 points, 0 points or even if the votes are in your favor 5 or 7 points... you know at what point you did not do as well as you expected. You WILL know when it is time to step aside. The time may very well be today.

Not that you need reminding Mrs. Clinton... but here are just a few reasons to listen to the people today - if you decide not to listen... you may damage our chances to win the White House back and impact change when change is needed more now, than any other time in our history:

* The people who support both yourself and Mr. Obama are spending millions of dollars a day that can go toward our combined cause instead of against each other. These tens of millions, even hundreds of millions of dollars could be spent fighting the very forces that you have spent your life fighting.

* $4.00 Gasoline and climbing... this is affecting every avenue of life in America... because of this, the poor are getting poorer, the middle class is becoming the poor class, The rich are getting richer, the oil companies are getting richer and the country is slowing being divided into nothing more than the haves and the have nots.

* Foreclosure.... people are loosing there homes by the thousands, some of those people are becoming part of an ever growing population of homeless. The American dream is becoming the American nightmare.

* 4041..... Dedicated United States men and women have already died in a war that needs to end now.... here are the names of all of those who can no longer vote: http://icasualties.org/oif/USDeaths.aspx

* War, Starvation, Genocide, AIDS, Human Rights violations, Torture and all of the other evils that are taking a toll on our World.

* The Earth..... The Republicans are doing everything they can to bleed and destroy the very thing that we all depend on. If the Democrats do not win the white house this time around and we have to endure another 8 years of destruction.... we may very well push our Mother Earth too far.

The list goes on, as I said earlier, you do not need a reminder of these things.

In conclusion, please Mrs. Clinton, hear our voice. If you know it is time to step aside, please do. We will always admire you for your achievements and contribution to our people. We love you and we hope that you love us back.
