Please Lord, let Hillary lose PA |
|
No, not because I hate Hillary or because I'm sexist or even because I'm an Obama fanatic. I just want this primary season to be over. I'm starting to understand how Bill Clinton's circle must have felt for most of his second term when every little thing was dragged out as an excuse to hang him.
I don't hate Hillary, I don't even think she'd be a bad president but a Hillary victory in PA, especially a big victory, promises to drag out the process right to the convention and like a lot of people, I'm sick of it. Sick of the back-biting, the lies, the personal attacks, the exagerations, half-truths and outright falsehoods, the mud-slinging, the muck-raking and the way a vocal minority of both side's supporters have effectively declared war on the other side's supporters. The Hillbots instantly dismiss anything said by an Obama supporter and vice versa.
Enough with it all! So, I want Hillary to lose PA for no other reason than that will bring the race to the quickest end. Then we can start hating the Repubs again and that's always more fun.

I prefer Obama, but if the positions were reversed, I'd be praying for a Clinton win just to end this bloodbath.

3. So you're saying Obama needs some kind of divine intervention to win in PA. |
|
Despite the fact that he already outspent Hillary on TV ads, mailers and DVDs by a margin of more than 3-to-1?
Looks like you really have a lot of confidence in your candidate's ability to seal the deal with voters ... :eyes:

Yes this is why this needs to end officially... it is already over in reality. The deal is already sealed with voters.

Today on Earth Day 38 , millions of Democrats in Pennsylvania are so excited about having their voices heard, thanks to Hillary.
Let all Democratic voices be heard.

|
We fight for our voices to be heard with Obama ahead.
Hang on to the $500, or donated to Obama because he is going to need it. As in Pennsylvania , Obama firmly believes in money to inflame the passions of the un-inflamed.

Especially since Obama was never indicated as leading in Florida. All your "fighting" indicates is that you wanted more delegates for Clinton, regardless of her standing in the race.

|
You tried to prove me wrong with a declaration that has no bearing on my premise, which is that if the shoe were on the other foot, you would not care one bit about "silencing" the voters. It's unprovable either way, which is why I said that I'd wager rather than just calling you an outright hypocrite. There is nothing unclear about what I'm saying, and I am neither a fan of Obama's or Clinton's. I am a fan of having a Democrat reside at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington, DC. This puerile, protracted, and pointless battle does not serve those interests well.

36. You used a false premise to begin with in trying to refute my post or whatever you were doing. |
|
And you appear to want to cling to that false premise regardless.
But also - disenfranchising the voices of 1.7 million Floridian Democrats, I can tell you with absolutely no uncertainty, does not serve the interest of having a Democrat move into the house at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in January 2009. Thinking otherwise is sheer political stupidity.

dodging sniper fire, threatening Iran w/nuclear war, backing and opposing NAFTA at the same time, mismanaging her campaign, mismanaging her funds...

When Obama can't outspend, out speech and out talk lil ole Hillary to victory, what chance do he have against the RW Machine? The DNC will be all about the money divide and how she was up against one of the greatest speakers of our time, yet she took him on head to head in all the GE states.

anything about your liking of Obama, its about who can win this thing, not just ending this for the sake of ending it. I would hope if the situation was reversed and you wholeheartedly thought Obama should win that you would vote for him, otherwise why do we vote for a candidate at all? Just let them pick one and we can click "D" in the GE.

I can't stand the sight of her every bit as much as I can't stand the sight of Dubya. She possesses NOTHING that would inspire me to view her as a leader, let alone President and there is no way I would vote fer her, even if she squeaks out the Democratic nomination. She is no different that McCain so, if she gets lucky and wins the primary I will sit out the general election. She also freaks me out with her cackle and her buggy eyes.

State of the Union Address January, 2004. I promised God that I would never ask for another thing if s/he would only allow * to step on his dick big time in front of the world. Well you know how that turned out but I am not bitter and I don't ask for anything else. I do tune in to see if anyone else has offered up a prayer to save us from this awful madness. Thanks to all who keep the conversation alive. Peace, Kim

"Hillbots" and "Obamabots" are the terms I've used for that faction of supporters in both camps who seem to have taken leave of their senses and embraced their candidate as a messiah. Check my DU journal and you'll find a fair amount of slagging of both forms of bot.
