The Clinton's are moving the GOAL POST again,
throughout the morning talk shows its been about a win is a win, knowing fully
that she needs to win by a double digit percentage margin.

When the campaign got to Pennsylvania it was about winning the States outright
by double digit to continue, now its about limping to the next state, can't the
party see what is going on? it is increasingly becoming clear that she is
campaigning against the Democratic party and for John McBush.

If she was campaigning honorably then I'm sure folks won't mind her staying
on, but its the tactics she uses that gets people all worked up, there hasn't
been anything positive about her campaign except to use race-bait and sexism.

Why are the Clinton's allowed to dictate the pace of this primaries?

1. The reality is what ever she gains today will be offset by the NC primary
the reality is they have lost, game over. Thier insistence of staying in the race is ONLY hurting the party.

4. That's the goal
The DLC would rather have Republicans in charge than have the Democratic party not be entirely in their elitist, neoliberal hands.

The system in the Democratic party is designed so the grassroots have zero effect on American politics. That system is breaking down, so the party must be destroyed to favor the Republicans.

That way the grassroots never have a chance at any power and the neoliberal doomsday machine can continue unabated.

This is the only plausible explanation for their behavior.

18. Very interesting concept
another analytical standpoint would be OLD vs YOUNG battle, me thinks
the battle that is going on within the Dem party is about OLD versus YOUNG,
NEW WAYS versus OLD WAYS.

Yes, the DLC are playing major part in doing their bit to divide the party and
also destroy grass root politics in the process, but the most important thing
about the DLC is them being upset with ordinary folks participating which to
them is bad for business.

3. Even if Obama reaches the magic number she could stay in
and try to switch everyone at the convention.

She isn't moving the goal posts, they are way out in left field and always have been...they're not even in the football stadium anymore.

17. I would say that at this point....
...that she's moving the goal posts, but we're at the bottom of the 9th, and she's down 20 points.

At this point, her goal posts don't make a hell of a lot of sense.

5. Double digits beginning with "2." As in 20, 21, 22, etc.
A 15% win will do some popular vote damage but that has never been the criteria.

6. UNTIL THEY DO
As long as the SD do not endorse it means they are not committed yet. That means she has hope, maybe not hope to win but hope to get very close. Her winning every GE state has big pull but the decision isn't mine. The SDs should stand up and endorse if they want to end this. I say let they go on, until Obama has 2025 delegates she should be allowed (and I encourage her to) run.

9. Yes, but her bullshit is wearing thin. For the first on Morning Edition, they called her on it.
They made it perfectly clear that she needs at least a 20 point margin to remain viable.

NPR will be the first to say it among the purely news shows (in contrast to shows like Countdown). Hopefully, the others will follow soon.

10. At this point it doesn't matter what she says, anything less then a margine of victory near 20....
and the pressure for her to pull out is going to be unbearable, even for the Clintons.

13. Why people keep saying this is beyond me: moving the goal posts?
The "goal posts" are where they have always been. A specific number of delegates.

Jeez. I know you guys want to win, but why change the rules?

21. My concerns is her campaigning against
the Democratic party, she is welcome to continue if she can
promise to campaign honestly and fairly, stick with the issues.

People wants her out because she continues to arm the Republicans
with weapons for the GE, that should be of concern to you no, yes
that is if you're a Democrat.
