Forget the shot and a beer - if Hillary had really wanted to impress Pennsylvanians,
she'd have downed a plate of scrapple!

1. Good lord. It looks like chunks of a formica counter.

Actually, if you have a powerful enough imagination, imagining that you're eating formica instead of compressed hog offal might just get you through it.

9. My husband won't go near scrapple because the one time he had it he was sick as a dog!
I maintain it was the green donuts for St. Patrick's Day, but he refuses to try it again!

4. Awe comeon. Scrapple is VERY GOOD! We grew up having
it for breakfast all the time. We used to make our own! I don't make it anymore because there's only 2 of us in the house and I don't think you can make just a small batch, but we occasionally find a local store that sells it and we still enjoy it.

5. Up north in New England, we had our own scrapple-like food
It was called "corton", or "pork scrap". It was only available in areas with a large French-Canadian population. My neighborhood butcher shop still sells it. :9

Then again, I also used to drink Moxie. These days, I think it tastes like cough syrup. What was I thinking?
