Watch a massive shift to the gravitas of Powell as opposed to the ethereal charisma of Obama.

Implications of torture notwithstanding, Powell spoke against it at the infamous meeting. And he will be able to deflect any charges of leading us into war with the dog and pony show at the U.N.

Powell has gravitas, and an enormous GOP following, despite Cheney's attempts to relegate him to obscurity. I can imagine many of the GOP who want a black president and are now opting for Obama, would switch and vote for McCain in the hopes that he'll croak and Powell will take over the reins, or that Powell will really be the one in charge, as Cheney has been for bush.
