Reminder: Exactly, Precisely what Hillary Clinton is READY to do -- OR NOT!

This morning I saw a small clip of one of her ads choosing to exploit the horrors of Katrina in an ad suggesting Barack Obama isn’t ready and hoping voters see that she is.

My jaw dropped.

Permit me remind you what Hillary Clinton was doing the day after Katrina devastated New Orleans. I received an email from her office that day. She was praying for the victims of the hurricane…however if I was going to be at the state fair in New York she invited me to drop by for a handshake. She and Bill would be there.

Was that the BEST she could muster in the midst of a NATIONAL CRISIS, the most she was READY to do for, offer prayers and enjoy a day at the fair!

I will never forget this, I felt furious. There must be something better she could do with her time at that very moment. I wrote about it here on DU and I wrote a scathing email to Paul Berendt, who was at that time the chairman of the Washington State Democratic Party suggesting that our democratic leaders needed to do MORE than simply offer religious platitudes while the dead were floating down the streets of New Orleans.

Now, for her to use an ad about Katrina, suggesting that Barack Obama is somehow not ready is the ultimate Hypocrisy. I have seen what is most important to Hillary, it is herself.

You wanted her to drop her responsibilities and run down to NO? Or what exactly did you want her to be doing? Silly, if she had done so you'd have complained about that.

Hillary was shaking hands. She really is ready...for anything that helps her gain power. Terrible ad.
