If Obama got Hillary's supporters and Hillary got Obama's supporters...? |
|
Then common sense would say that they would be equal in the general election. They would both have the same amount of votes. The difference in the two may be that in some states, Hillary supporters will not support Obama, and in other states, Obama supporters would not support Hillary. So basically, the primary is about who will be the best person at the top of the ticket. Neither of them will lose the traditonal Democratic states of NY, CA, or IL. But states such as CO, OR, WI, MO, and NM may make the difference in the race in the general election? It's a complicated formula.

2. What Clinton supporters wouldn't support Clinton in the GE? |

the division in the democratic party is so great that there is no way that it will unite under one candidate. there are more like me out there that won't vote for either no matter what than you can imagine. i talk to them every single day in all the venues i visit. you think everyone is just going to drop their angst and join hands and sing kumbaya? that will never happen & BOTH candidates have seen to it. their egos are so large that they can't do what is best for the party ... they'd rather see it destroyed first.
i still intend to vote for the only candidate who EARNED my vote ... EDWARDS. i don't care if it costs you & every other person a President McCain either. get over yourselves. there is nothing about unity in either of those candidates and its been perpetuated by their supporters.
