he is stealing the vote for the big donors and lobbyists who cannot vote republican this time around since they have screwed up so badly. He will steal it for the corporate democrat.

6. You're right. Right now it seems like Hillary is the worst because she is already
bought and paid for. Hopefully Obama will continue to not take campaign money from those ruthless corporate donors who think they can buy whatever they want.

8. I wish that were true; but I fear the difference is more one of form than substance.

We need to get the money out of politics.

12. yeah, six degrees of daddy warbucks. is that your point?
a million donors. an average donation of under $100. it is just plain disingenuous to pretend he is no different from hillary fatcat. the article is also from the very beginning of the campaign. so, you are making an argument with an opinion about something that had not even happened.
puhleeze.

17. If you think those who give the average donation are on a level playing field
with the Wall Street lawyers and corporate functionaries who have bundled large contributions for him, then you have been taken in by the smoke and mirrors. Obama's relationship with Exelon in Illinois sets the pattern.

We may have a choice; but, as usual, it's not much of one.

15. I agree with you but good luck convincing anyone of that.
There are so few real differences between these two and each side has tried to draw distinctions that aren't there. It's gone from the sublime state of having two candidates that I really admired to the ridiculous state of having two candidates that I don't even recognize.

Worst of all, not a single peace candidate.

16. We need to get the money out of politics.
Most sensible thing I've heard in weeks. The entire government needs to be reformed, campaign finances, lobbying, corporate tax breaks, all of it. The corporations have stolen the government from "we the people".

7. I don't really know but we can't keep allowing the corporations to count our
votes in secret. We will never win the way we should be winning. I do believe we would have a dem president now and way more dem congressmen if not for Rove's manipulation.
