STOP LYING!! NC Debate cancelled - the actual reasons
From the North Carolina Democratic Party:

We regret to inform you that the proposed Democratic Presidential Debate scheduled for April 27 has been cancelled due to time constraints and logistical issues associated with such a large, national event. (emphasis added)

Please, Clintonistas - stop LYING, please!! Why do you feel you must lie to the rest of us?

8. Not cool
I'm for Obama, but i'm not against Clinton.

Okay, actually I'm really against Clinton these days, but I am entirely against sexually demeaning insults against Democratic senators being put on DU. Shame on you. And please grow up.

Edited on Tue Apr-22-08 04:55 PM by FlyingSquirrel
You have shown tremendous passion and interest in being a part of history as Democrats are poised this year to elect the first female or African-American President. However, there were also growing concerns about what another debate would do to party unity. (emphasis added)

Amen to that, brother.

9. Thanks for the catch
Another important reason to cancel the debate that has nothing to do personally with either candidate.

14. Not to mention
The so-called "debates" are just a useless waste of everyone's time and money, especially when they devolve into the idiotic sideshow put on by Wayne and Garth on ABC the other night.

18.  Why do you guys seize on any tenuous explanatrion apart from the one that
is blindingly obvious. The guy chickened out having been embarrassingly exposed as a lightweight in the last debate.

20. Can you prove this? Do you have a link? Or a quote?
Or are you merely engaging in wishful thinking? I much prefer dealing with facts, so show me an article that backs up your contention. otherwise, you are just throwing stones, which has also seemed to typify the Clinton campaign...imagine that...

24. He did fine. Here's what happened.
An Obama campaign spokesman, Bill Burton, replied: “It’s unfortunate that the Clinton campaign decided to play politics with this — especially considering that Senator Obama agreed to a North Carolina debate long before Senator Clinton did, and their campaign took three weeks to consider and ultimately reject that proposal.”

So your candidate is lying, as are you.

thats why a slew of lawmakers came out and endorsed Obama today.
