How big is the Rendell Machine in PA? I'm scared shitless... |
|
Does he have the same kind of clout as the political machines of the past, like Joe Kennedy had in Chicago in 1960, and the even more recent theft of the 2000 election by Katherine Harris and Jeb Bush, and even more recently, the Ohio election of 2004.
Are we in some kind of corrupt, time warp that just won't go away no matter how loud we holler FOUL!?

2. Personally IMHO I don't think he's that big |

We tolerate him. The Repukes ran a weak candidate in Swann. Many of us held our nose and voted for "Fast Eddie". I think he's a bit of a joke to many of us as a governor. Just like our crooked, bloated, legislature. We finally wised up and got angry at one of their after midnight pay raises and at least turned some of them out of office last election. Dem and Repuke!.
But I'm from Western PA - he may be better liked in Philly!

4. I'll be honest - it's big. It really is an old style political machine there. |
|
If Hillary pulls out a win, it will be in no small part to the sleazy Rendell machine.
It's one of the last few places that such a political machine still exists. Thank God.

5. That may well be, but Rendell certainly didn't sound convinced that Hillary would win PA. |

7. Yeah, I think he's been a bit surprised that not everyone is shutting up & doing what they're told. |
|
Eddie Rendell is slimy.
No matter what happens with either candidate, I hope Rendell gets a good electoral spanking soon.
