16. Chuck Todd was just showing the math...
and from here out, Hillary needs to win 80% of the pledged delegates in the remaining contests in order to take over the delegate lead from Obama

15. Not in the electoral college, which is how we select a president
Edited on Tue Apr-22-08 08:35 PM by jackson_dem
Besides it is naive to put stock into those Obama numbers. He should not be doing 1-2 points better in the popular vote GE polls than a woman the rethugs and the MSM attacked for 16 years, the far left for 5-6 years, and Obama for the year. He is the "new" candidate. The last two "new" candidates, Kerry and Bush, lost 11 points from the spring to November. If Obama holds to that trend he will lose the GE by the same margin Carter did...

7. If it's the Reagan Dems, Clinton can't win either
Think it was HST that said, "Given a choice between a Republican and a Democrat running as a Republican, the voters will chose the Republican every time."

5. Pennsylvania was a sympathy card for Hillary.
A late valentine for Hillary from Bill and his political arm-twisting machine.

But the delegates all know it's over.
