Why in the HELL is "bigot Buchanan" still working on MSNBC? |
|
Edited on Tue Apr-22-08 08:44 PM by Blue_Roses
:grr:
He should have had his ASS fired after that horrible hit piece about the black man and how he said they should "thank their lucky stars they're in America and not Africa" :argh: He doesn't give a rats ass about the Democratic party. What makes him "qualified" to moderate? He's screaming over Rachel now. :argh:
I need a beer.

he doesn't give a rats ass about the Repub party either, so it isn't like they are keeping him there.
He's an ASS who LIVES to be obnoxious.
He's blowing someone at MSNBC. Or he has a voodoo doll of someone important there. Or he has them under a spell. Seriously. There can be NO logical explanation for why he is there.

3. He's popular with the over 99 crowd? Seriously, he was against both Iraq wars |
|
So even his racist hate-filled self is right twice a lifetime.

10. Meh. He's just keeping the seat from being occupied by someone else |
|
just as ignorant, but younger. It's the media. If they put a liberal on, it's just so they can beat them up.

11. it is fun to watch Rachel swat him around with her intellect... |
|
he just gets so flustered since he can't understand half the big words she says. He just starts shouting. That, THAT does give me some satisfaction:D

15. lol. I love Maddow. They may have gotten more than they expected with her. |
|
A liberal pundit who won't be browbeaten but who won't take the bait, either. She's hard to ridicule, and I doubt that's what they were hoping for. :)

6. To remind us how brilliant Rachel is- and to balance her out . |
|
The need to have someone who is totally opposite of her- in fact, it's actually two to one if when Joe Scarborough is on- which is better then it was a few years back when they would have 3 GOP pundits on one Democratic. But Rachel is light years ahead of them in her brilliance, her clarity, understanding of the big picture and as a communicator. I cheer for her (and for us!) every time she's on- I'm so proud of her and honored to have her speaking for us- especially in response to assholes like Buchanan.

Given his career in the Nixon administration, I can only conclude that he is in the possession of some interesting photographs.

9. Honestly, Buchanan is WEIRD, when I go to Borders I read the magazine "American Conservative" |
|
I read it because it's an "Old" Conservative magazine, what I mean is, they are not like the neo-cons. They are very isolationist, they opposed Iraq from the beginning. I like to read opposing points of view. Anyways, Pat Buchanon is pretty much their lead writer. Some of the stuff he wrote about the neo-cons was EXTREMELY negative. He HATES Richard Pearl and Wolfowitz.
Doesn't excuse his views on domestic issues, but I don't mind him as much as the Fox News Gangsquad.
