Republicans sure do like Hillary! |
|
At least the ones on MSNBC do. Every time Joe Scarborough or Pat Buchanan is on the screen, they're screaming "How could anybody think Obama can win in the general? He couldn't even win in Pennsylvania!"
Two things: Nobody ever expected Obama to win Pennsylvania. Nobody. Not even the Obama campaign. Not even Obama supporters on DU. It was only ever a question of how close he could make it.
And secondly, the democratic primary in Pennsylvania has no bearing on the general election in Pennsylvania. These are democrats choosing their favorite democrat. Come November, they will still be democrats. Except for a small spiteful minority, they will vote for the nominee.
But man, the republicans sure as hell are trying to spin it for Hillary. They really seem to want Hillary to be the democratic nominee. What do you suppose is the deal there?
(That last question was purely rhetorical.)

5. How can someone who was leading in polls two weeks ago by 20+% now be the Comeback Kid? |
|
Additionally saying that Obama spent much more than Clinton in Pennsylvania begets a clear fact that Clinton is broke.
The Clinton campaign will continue on...hobbling and perhaps continuing to lie about Obama even though it is mathematically impossible for her to win fairly.
