Obama: Time to Take Off the Gloves
Obama has been easy on Hillary thus far out of fear of alienating her base. He doesn't want to piss off the women she has behind him. Well, as far as I can see, and according to the polls, a lot of them won't vote for him anyway. Therefore, I say he just says fuck it and take off the gloves. He's been gentle on her. He has been left to just defend. He doesn't openly come out and attack her like she does him and it makes him look soft.

HE NEEDS TO ROUGH HER UP. I mean, he needs to show his Chicago grit and hit her every time he opens his mouth.

Take off the gloves, Obama. Time to stop acting like Mr. Nice Guy.

Leak everything you have on her. She didn't think twice about dredging up the Ayers bullshit. Hit her with all of the lawsuits pending against her right now. The corruption. The dirt. Hit her with everything you're saving right now out of respect for the party. She doesn't have any respect, therefore you should just save the party and knock her out right now.

We will understand.

1. As much as I would love to see Hillary stutter and stammer that would be ....
very out of character for Obama.

2. Not Obama, but his supporters, should start exposing Hillary for what she is.
Obama's campaign needs to start going into attack mode. Obama, himself, should maintain the image of the guy who is going to bring the country together by inspiring people of all different backgrounds.

Hillary is a flip-flopper. She plagiarized much of her campaign from John Edwards. I do not believe for one minute that she would keep any of her campaign promises to the grass roots.

My image of Hillary Clinton is that of a junk yard pit bull. She isn't there to watch your back. When Hillary is around, you better watch your own back, and guard your wallet as well.

These women who support her have short memories. It was husband Bill who gave us NAFTA, who pushed through Republican sponsored anti-women welfare "reform", signed off on repeal of the Glass-Steagall (banking) Act, and promoted Most Favored Nation trading status for China. The Clinton presidency supplied a big boost to the offshoring of family supporting jobs. I don't understand why any union people would support a Clinton, either.

Obama's support is among inspired new voters. If Hillary is the Democratic candidate, they will very likely not bother to vote. At the same time, Hillary would likely bring out a lot of hostile anti-Hillary people who would otherwise not bother to vote for McCain. They would not only give the presidency to McCain, but give Congress to the Republicans as well.

Democrats who can't see what a Hillary nomination would do are living in a fantasy world. Obama is the best thing to happen to the Democratic Party in years. A Hillary candidacy would be a disaster for the party from which it may never recover.

8. funny thing about them playing the race card
and then Wright steals the show on race baiting

Wright retires to an all white gated community on a golf course in a $1.6 million dollar home

and Bill Clinton has his office in Harlem

ironic, isn't it.

maybe a rousing round of God Damn America will motivate their 'base'

4. No... he needs to focus on McCain.... she can't get this nomination now.... she's working for 2012

She wants Obama to lose the GE, so she has a chance to be the "I-told-you-so" candidate in 2012.

She knows she can't win the nomination...so she is making sure Obama loses the GE.

13. He has no platform to take on McCain, he hasn't won his party's primary
McCain would be quick to remind him of that, and Obama would look foolish

but you go ahead and advocate that

16. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!! You have to be BLIND not to notice this!!
The Republican machine is already running against Obama and Obama ALONE!

There are only three possible reasons for this.

1) They know he will be the nominee.

2) They are scared of him so they want to damage him now.

3) They want Hillary to be the nominee.

All three of these things SHOULD rally the Dem party around Obama.

Let's go, Superdelegates!

18. I disagree, read this please
<http://www.nytimes.com/2008/04/23/opinion/23wed1.html?_r=1&oref=slogin> This comes from the very newspaper that endorsed her. The own people who support her are being driven away not only by hillary's tactics, but drawn more TO obama because he doesn't get down in it. I know its hard to be patient but at least I always thought that this would be a hard fought road to victory, that's what helps make it worth it. hillary WANTs obama to roll in mud with him, that way she can claim equivocation and DAMAGE a central element of his candidacy , his ability to offer a different kind of politics. To NOT do this would destroy a central element of his candidacy, and one that you surely must concede gains him votes, he may turn off more people than he gains by this. He just needs to avoid anymore "bitter" gaffes and he'll be fine by May 6th IMO
