Hillary is not dropping out after a win. Don't expect it. Don't demand it. |
|
It's not going to happen, so don't be dissapointed or frustrated when she doesn't. Even if she getting the nomination isn't going to happen, either, I think we all know the game well enough to know the next move.
So demanding she drop out is just posturing. Don't bother.

But if the uncommitted super delegates begin a mass endorsement of Obama, hopefully she's smart enough to do the right thing.

Five Percent - 5% - "win" . |

She wouldn't drop after losing seven straight. Win/lose has lost any meaning.

8. Nobody's demanding it but she's out of money and likely will lose the next 2 primaries. |
|
She will still trail by 500,000 votes overall and by 140 or so delegates. There's no way she can catch up. The euphoria of tonight will fade to the reality of tomorrow morning. I think this ends in 2 weeks, if not sooner.

I didn't expect Edwards to call it quits just before super Tuesday.
My guess is that the internals showed something that he'd rather not have seen.

and I'm getting sick and tired of everyone in the Obama campaign and news media piling on her every time she wins.

will contain words like "entitled" and other things we threw at her earlier in the primary.
which is what it will sound like to people who don't follow electoral math (like 90% of us).
If this is how she (and especially her supporters) want her to go down, we may as well let her do that on her own terms. I don't see it helping Obama to have it any other way - and the Hillary supporters here have said as much.
When she loses Guam, IN and NC, we'll talk.

So we should let her go on her own terms.
She's gotta know what we know about the math. Why I think her motives for staying in are about pride, which is silly but expected in politics, she has supporters we can't afford to alienate.
