Obama Supporters Continue To Show Their Lack Of Class and Grace
Just look at these thread titles:

No f'ing way I will EVER VOTE for Hillary in a general election. PERIOD.
hillary clinton wins using the politics of fear, racebaiting
Hillary you damn liar!!!! You grew up in OHIO not PENNSYLVANIA!!!!
After Hillary's extremely dissapointing "win" in PA...
Why I Distrust PA Election Results…
Whatever the final tally, Hillary "lost" PA
She's using her "Victory" speech to beg for money.
Will Hillary throw another fake victory party?
The Superdelegates are not stupid (they know PA didn't mean anything)
Hillary Spin: "The tide is turning!" Blecccchhhh...

Is there any possible way you could just be gracious in defeat? Is there any wonder why many here are turned off to your candidate? Why let your passion over-ride your reason? Very disappointing.

And just to be clear, I don't have a dog in this fight. I think both of these candidates are poison for the Dem Party in November.

23. I apologize.
And I also was being unclear. I meant to say that if you want to see some real venom, check out the Hillary forum. Over there, there's no opposition, so the vitriol goes unchecked.

And I am a fan of Senator Biden, so good on you.

Edited on Tue Apr-22-08 09:59 PM by rainbow4321
We weren't. So we aren't.

She has gotten maybe 6-10 delegates out of tonight (at the most? Whatever the less than 10 margin gets her), is begging for $5 donations, and that 20 point lead seems so, so long ago.

Most importantly, she is broke. No where to go but down.

16. Why can't people see
that it is, and has always been part of the game? Throw a little dirt here. Throw a little dirt there. If you lose, you (as a candidate) pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and support the nominee.

I chose the candidate I'm supporting recently, and can't understand the level of absolute anger. Is it propaganda and MSM driven? Damn. There are three people in the running for the POTUS. There is one I will not vote for if someone hits me in the head with a hammer and knocks all the sense out of me. There are two that I would vote for, and I will vote for one of them. If it's my "chosen" candidate or not.

This type of discourse has to stop. Anger to the point that one would almost welcome a continuation of the last 8 god damned years? What the hell?

17. Why don't you be reasonable and your candidate also.
She may have won this battle, but only with help from ABC, FOX NEWS, Richard Mellon Scaife and other RW pushers. Yeah, she won the battle, but ultimately she has lost the war and needs to be told to get out of the race.

18. Your anger is completely misplaced
69% of Obama voters in PA say they'll vote for Clinton; only 53% of Clinton voters say the same for Obama.

That's a bigger problem than a few angry comments on DU.

30. You do not speak for me
I congratulate Hillary and her supporters on their victory last night. (As I have in many posts.)

I also have repeatedly said that I will support the Democratic candidate, regardless of which candidate is chosen as the nominee. I have also taken heat for making the argument for both sides to look past the Primary season and carefully consider the importance building bridges between both camps to mount a successful Democratic campaign in General election.

If you want to criticize a few bad apples that's fine, there are certainly some on both sides. Don't cast broad aspersions against the vast majority of positive, thoughtful and loyal Democratic supporters.
