No matter who wins the nom, HERE is THE problem:
Edited on Tue Apr-22-08 10:08 PM by Triana
..." to the delight of Republicans and John McCain, the GOP presidential nominee-in-waiting gaining in the polls while the Democrats battle in primaries deep into the spring.

...

Also to the delight of Republicans, the six-week layoff between primaries produced a string of troubles for the Democrats."

This shit needs to be OVER NOW. We need to be fighting McSame - NOT battling between Obama and Clinton. We're screwing ourselves out of this election. Democrats, once again, snatching defeat from the jaws of what OUGHT to be a very viable victory.

1. Here, here!

McCain's team are having their work done for them, now.

They just sit back, take notes and keep hammering on the points
brought up.

Fight McCain-Not each other!

:(

2. It's not a problem - it's a benefit. The poll gain is illusory - no one's campaigning against him...
... Democrats are the ONLY ones in the news. Obama gets all the practice anyone needs against republicans. Money is rolling in that McCain can't hope to match. The general election season is shortened, making it harder to get a good swiftboat campaign going.

I hope the dead lady keeps this up straight through until the convention.

3. No one is beating on the guy and he's still only got a single digit lead!! That's crazy!! He's had..
...weeks to beat up on them and make himself look better and he can't.

The 15 million he raised in the last 3 or 4 months speaks volumes in comparison to Obamas

11. Oh they got their swiftboats lined up and aimed at Obama because...
...the Repigs are frothing at the mouth to go against Hillary. They want her to be the nom and have said so.

Not saying you're wrong, but consider that, too. They want Hillary. Bad.

6. Yep. And in the GE - we HAVE to beat McSame...
Edited on Tue Apr-22-08 10:14 PM by Triana
...zero time or money or effort being spent on that at all, except by the DNC - but they're strapped for money because it's all going from supporters into the campaign coffers of Clinton or Obama - instead.

We're screwing ourselves (Hillary is helping us of course, not that she cares about that - she only cares about herself - sorry but I don't see HOW she can win the nom - either way I wish this crap would END - we're spinning our wheels at this point and we can't afford it)

7. Neither candidate looks very strong...
typical meda-fueled campaign where two rock star candidates were crowned as frontrunners despite their lack of credibility and experience. Biden or Dodd would have been much better. Obama already has serious trouble with blue collar whites and older voters, and Clinton will have serious trouble with disenfranchised young voters and blacks if she manages to get the nomination. Either way, it will be a tough fight for the Dems against McCain.

9. I'm not worried.
A mountain of shit is going to fall on old McSame's head once the Dem primaries are over.

10. What would be amusing is, if Obama is the nom....
...he is pretty young and McSame is grandpa GOP - the differences in more ways than one would be like - you know, black-and-white. (yea, BAD pun - slap me silly - but I had to say it).

It would certainly be such a contrast between the two in SO many ways - only the first being ideologies/platform. Would be interesting, if we EVER get there.
