Anybody know how the heck the networks beat the state?
How is it that CNN has 85% votes reported when the state site has 80%? I've been trying to figure this out all evening. It may have been true in past and I never even caught it? But how does that work?

1. I think the state website is f'd a bit
Weird thing just happened.

Hillary went from 1051051 votes to 1043099 votes while Obama went from 855332 to 862029.

Miscount someplace?

3. Are you getting 3 Obamas and 1 Hillary then vice versa?
I'm freaking out trying to follow this thing over there! God, there was even a time when 3 McCains were there. For the love of all that is holy, isn't one of those enough??

2. They are falling prey to trying to project before the official
numbers are in. They are doomed to repeat the same mistake over and over again.

6. Yeah, but they said the exit polls were too close to call.
It all mystifies me. Well, at least with the site being behind (and possibly more accurate) I can find joy in that, I suppose!

9. Networks have more staff
Boards of Elections are busy counting votes and probably don't have enough staff or funds to keep their web sites updated so frequently.
