Obama Spent our Money Well in PA! Shaved 10 points off Party Machine/ 8 year WH advantage!
and did fine without giving out street money (which I think the Clintons did, although they are keeping mum).

She's from Scranton, so I'm happy that she won her another of her home states. Congrat to her!

So I Guess I'll have to make another contribution to Obama.

Giving him money is like Priceless! :)

1. Giving him momey is like flushing it away. It will never go toward a GE win but
I am glad you have it to throw away.

13. It's so pathetic Hillary was begging for cash during her speech tonight
Edited on Tue Apr-22-08 10:42 PM by Cali_Democrat
She has taken money from her supporters and completely blown it while Obama is still flush with cash. The poor woman is begging for $5 dollar donations.

She is basically still in the red. Even though she's rich, she doesn't want to spend her own money for the primaries. She would rather rob her own supporters and fart in their general direction.

Millions to Mark Penn, pizza and wine.

28. I disagree. He has been playing nice to Clinton, I would be happy to hand him more money
if he takes her on and spares nothing in knocking her down and out. He has been tying not to divide the party, but she don't care about the party- just about her vanity and power. If he gets tough on her, he has more of my money. He needs to knock her out now so that he can take on the Republicans who have already started to frame him to her advantage.

3. I feel very content tonight
she needed a blow out and it did not happen
she's in debt
I'm just guessing but i bet a large percentage of the money she is getting might be for the primary only for GE

4. He outspent Hillary by at least 2:1 in PA. In Texas, 4:1. Ohio 3:1.
Yet he can't put her away.

What's the problem?

I just said in another thread, what we are spending on making TV conglomerations richer is a crime.

You should know better than to be proud of her Repug campaign.

NC-IN here we come...without digging in the trash like the Clintons.

29. Her campaign is in the red and she spent it on a state she had been leading in.
She just blew it all on a state she was supposed to win strong in--and she didn't even get the blow out she needed. Sounds lot like a "rope a dope" to me. She has now got to go into the rest of the Primaries (when she needs something like 70% of the votes) with a campaign dripping red ink.

Not to put too fine of a point on it, but last I saw they still are not sure about how the delegates will shake out in PA. Could be pretty close to a tie when the delegate count in PA is all said and done.

7. Stop the spin. Obama got smacked around by Hillary in PA.
There is not good to come out of losing by 10 points in a vitally important state when you are the frontrunner.

15. Obama is the frontrunner.
It's nobody's fault but his own that he entered Pennsylvania down 20 points.

Again, when you are the frontrunner, you canot spin 10 point losses in important states like this.

24. Silliniess. No one predicted a win for him in PA.
Her checks are bouncing, her husband can't keep his mouth shut and the Obama campaign is still picking up steam.

Hillary is the one spinning a ten point loss tonight. She knows, in her heart of hearts, that this is over.

11. Yes he did! I'm very proud. I think he did great. I don't know what the hell
all the hoo-ha is about her "big" win. We knew she would take PA. She knew it. Obama knew it. He busted his ass and did good. He shaved a ton of votes off her.

Go Obama:bounce:

and he'll probably need some more money.

By the way, all the money that Clinton makes will have to go to paying her bills.

35. Yeah, especially when he's been famous since 1992 and his family is from PA
So she really has no kind of home state advantage. Fact is Hillary & her team needed a 50% blowout win and didn't get it. Everyone knew she had many things on her side in PA going into this race - the family connection, the fact of having won surrounding states, the support of the governor, and the demographics.
