What are the ISSUES that are going to bring us together?
I'm sure arguing to the point of exhaustion is exhilarating to some, but I'm not one that wants to participate.

What issues do OUR candidates agree on that we can take into the GE and beat the crap out of the bastards who have taken away our jobs, our freedoms, our dignity and standing in the world, and now our very food supply lines?

What the hell can we agree on when discussing issues?

2. First of all, a Hillary concession speech.
After that, a united party is possible, and the DLC'ers who can't deal with it can go back to Hell.

3. Beating John McCain?
Choosing the next 3-4 SCJ's. That ought to do it.

4. Universal health care
If Obama gets the nod, he wins me over by simply endorsing Hillary's healthe care plan.

Under Obama's plan I would have fallen in the 1/3 of the uninsured that Obama's plan didn't cover.

6. Lets see...
Health care for all Americans

Bringing our troops home

Using the levers of government to care for the least of us

Access to quality education regardless of location

Protecting the environment

Growing green collar jobs

Using diplomacy instead of force on the world stage

Protecting civil rights

Return of Habeas Corpus

Rejecting government condoned torture

Ending the invasion of personal privacy

for starters...

8. John McCain is scarier than Bush...
because he's just as crazy and twice as smart (or would that be half as dumb?). I would even vote for my least favorite democrat (today it's Bill Nelson, but it varies greatly) to make sure that didn't happen!

9. If ending this war and preventing nuclear aggression against other countries
isn't enough to bring Democrats together, then nothing will and there's sadly not much reason to even bother.

11. The Supreme Court! The most important issue in my opinion
This whole Iraq mess started because of the Bush Administration. The Supreme Court put the Bush Administration in power. If John McCain get in, he has promised more justices like Alito and Roberts. Neither of our candidates would even think of poisoning the Courts with right-wing justices. An ideological conservative Supreme Court would roll back progress on just about every progressive issue. This is why the religious right cares about the SC so much...and why we SHOULD care about it!
