Thank God for the Intelligent Voters of Pennsylvania! |

Thank God for the Intelligent Voters of Pennsylvania!
They didn't vote by poll.
They didn't fall over to bully rule.
They didn't vote by matching the polls.
They didn't let the media tell them who to vote for.
And They didn't let a silver-tongued orator pull the wool over their eyes.
Go Pennsylvania!
And I hope Indiana and NC will follow suit. ~**~

|
True, she can't clinch the election without superdelegates at this point, but she can still make Obama hurt.

27. She needed 20. Somewhere here someone posted what she |
|
now needs to win the nomination without the stupordelegates reversing field on everyone...
Something like 70% of all the rest of the votes. She ain't even close.
5 more Pa's won't do it.....

Re: "Nice vitriol there."
No vitriol at all.
Cicero was a silver-tongued orator and so were JFK and Jesse Jackson who I love and admire.
But nice knee-jerk there.

Right, your blatant claim that he's trying to pull the wool over our eyes (as if Hillary isn't????) means that I'm somehow having a knee-jerk reaction by calling it what it is? They're both craptastic candidates at this point. Biden and Dodd were better, much better.

4. Yes, thank God for the intelligent voters of PA ... |
|
... who, a few weeks ago, preferred Hillary to the tune of 25 points over Obama, and tonight gave her an underwhelming win by (so far) 8 points.
Apparently a lot of PA voters came to their senses tonight!

25. Last time I looked (a while ago) ... |
|
... it was 8.
But does it really matter - 8 or 10 - when she was projected to win PA a few weeks ago by 25?
By normal mathematical calculations, that's a downward spiral ...

28. Yes, there is a difference between 8 and 10, so yes it matters. |
|
And she was predicted to win by approx 20 points, not 25.
But don't let facts stand in your way.

32. Her highest lead in PA was 25 points ... |
|
... something the Hill Camp, at the time, drove home over and over and over.
But that was then, this is now. And 8 OR 10 points doesn't change the fact that (a) she has lost support over the past six weeks, and (b) she still isn't ahead of Obama in the delegate count.

35. How is being "out-spent" an argument? |
|
She was out-spent because he raised more money than she did, and his campaign isn't leaving a swath of unpaid creditors in its path.
Don't you ever wonder how it could be that Ms Healthcare Reform has allowed her own employees' medical insurance lapse?

11. The news and pols gave us all the talking points... 10 points, 200 thousand. Sure they danced... |
|
but this is predictable. PA is Rigged! It's a machine state. Obama knew it and so do people inside and outside of PA.
Some of you may not have figured this out but after 7 years of listening to politicians and liars, I smell rigging like I see rigging. Some of you will fall for anything.
Oh well.

media spin and Clinton fear and smear tactics. Oh, and I will through in some racism too. Because I have lived in Philly and in Western PA long enough to know that it still exists. Clinton's win tonight makes me sick to live hear. My daughter asked me how we could be so backwards.

You mean to tell me that a so-called almighty deity was instrumental in HRC's victory? You've got to be kidding.
I'd be more than happy for you and HRC if you had not compromised your personal pleasure by invoking deities in what is decidedly a secular domain.
That's something which I would expect the Republicans to do.

Maybe Nothing...
But stating it that way isn't so much my crediting a Deity as my sharing my happiness with the Cosmic Woobie, you know?
Perhaps I should have said that the god or gods of random helped tip things away from the wrong direction, IMHPOV?
As to my personal religion, I am a Deist -- like the founders of this country -- and an existentialist.
I believe in existence and the constant grinding of the absurd, as well as a Creator & Prime Mover who set things in motion, gave us this green earth and free will and is allowing us to work out and towards whatever we will without any interference or intercession from the Deity...
So I guess it's ironic that I called God into the whole thing when I knowing in fact that no Santa in the Sky had anything to do with it.
Confused? That's okay. Don't think on it too hard or your head might pop...
Oh, and I've been a Democrat since 1978.
Are you happier for me now that you know a little bit about me?
