I watched 5 minutes of election coverage tonight and I'm confused |

Enough to see Whorah O'Donnell say that late deciders went overwhelmingly for clinton. I don't underestand this statement. Six weeks ago she had a 20 point lead and it appears that lead dwindled by at least 50% in the intervening weeks. So who were these "late deciders" that voted "overwhelmingly" for her?
Is there any chance that we saw another instance of the crossover repubs who switched registration for the primary just to try to get her on the ballot for the general election?

2. OK she did say that but still |

it seems like a distinction without a difference. If you vote for the first time in a democratic primary are you a new voter or a late decider?
