HillaryPRIDE

It's wonderful to see posters that would have been hidden away 15, 20 years ago. :)

9. Props to him.
This would have been unheard of in, say, '88...

Someday, maybe this country will join the 21st Century. I hope it's sooner, not later.

14. I am pleased that pro-gay sentiment is the norm in the party at the national level now.
That is cause for cheer.

21. You are absolutely right, Bluebear. It's so much better
for most of the kids today.

And to think that a female candidate has come this far, as well.

That is all fact. It used to be that the only photos the media printed of us were of the Gay Pride Parade floats.

22. Election night 1992, Atlanta, Colony Square ballroom, Democratic Party election night gathering
"Gay Vote" signs EVERYWHERE!! Including in my own two hands. We even made it on the local newscast. It was a seemingly magical evening for visibility and for the successful election of the first presidential candidate who included us in his vision. Boy did we learn our lesson the hard way about putting our trust in Bill Clinton. I totally identify with this guy in the picture because he was me 16 years ago. He's got some hard lessons to learn if he really and truly believes in HillaryPride. Sometimes I hate being an old cynical queen, but I've been there. I believed in Bill. C'est la vie, kid.
