Poll question: Do You Agree with Hillary's Stance on Nuking Iran?
Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton confirmed Monday that as president she would be willing to use nuclear weapons against Iran if it were to launch a nuclear attack on Israel.

Clinton’s remarks, made in an interview on MSNBC’s “Countdown With Keith Olbermann,” clarified a statement she made last week in a Democratic presidential debate in Philadelphia. In that debate, Clinton, D-N.Y., said an Iranian attack on Israel would bring “massive retaliation,” without defining what the phrase meant.

In the interview Monday, Clinton affirmed that she would warn Iran’s leaders that “their use of nuclear weapons against Israel would provoke a nuclear response from the United States.”

6. Nuking Iran = World War III
...and a nuclear holocaust that could end humankind. Russians and Chinese will be highly pissed at us if we attack Iran, let alone nuke Iran.

7. You forgot the FUCK NO category
and I refuse to vote for this warmonger. In my opinion, not much separates her from John McInsane.

Democrats, nominate this woman at the country's peril.

8. I agree with her stance that we should SAY
we'll defend our allies with all available force if they are attacked with nukes. And that's what she did.

Pretending she's threatened to nuke Iran is just another lie told by Obama fans.

15. You can pretend all you want to yourself
The question was specific to nukes. She is intending to provide a nuclear umbrella to the region. I am absolutely against her war mongering idea.

Is this her new diplomatic effort...threatening Iran? That's worked so well with george bush.

She said she would obliterate Iran. Now do you think you do that?

Even the NYT, a paper that endorsed her called her on her approach.

Her vote for the Iraq War was not a mistake, just as her vote for Kyl-Lieberman was in keeping with a continuing pattern. Senator Clinton has surrounded herself with some of the worst hawks in the Democratic Party who serve as her foreign policy team. Now running around threatening another country. Did she once again fail to read the latest NIE?

9. Anyone who threatens to nuke ANY country is completely unfit to be President.
Even Ronald Reagan, the greatest friend the "defense" industry ever had, never dreamed of going that far. :scared:

10. Anybody with a brain knows that there will be massive retalliation if Iran nukes Israel
Except that Iran isn't going to nuke Israel. They don't have nuclear weapons and they aren't suicidal. I question Hillary's motives in even bringing this up.

11. other: It's a ridiculous premise.
Iran is NOT going to nuke Israel. It's just a straw man. Because Iran DOESN'T HAVE NUKES! Nor are they getting them anytime soon, certainly not within the next 8 years. This whole thing is stupid, Hillary just played that card to look tough on something she will NEVER have to deal with.

13. I disagree with her blustering bullying arrogance
Whether we respond to an attack against Israel can be debated, and considered by a President should it happen. But the hyped up antagonism and yeehaw, turn it into a parking lot, menacing threats have got to stop.

16. No , it was a childish and irresponsible statement.
It clearly shows that she doesn't have what in takes to be the President of the United States.

17. Two points....
Iran does not have nukes.

Even if they did, and even if they suicidally used them to attack Israel, Israel has her own nukes and is perfectly capable of defending herself.
