Kerry put Obama in the spotlight in '04 and Kerry is not the media. To claim the media picked them both does the people behind him a huge disservice. Sometimes that Chomsky-Nader crap applies and sometimes it doesn't. It didn't in '04 (Kerry and Bush were not identical) and it doesn't now.
Chomsky is bright but he's also a propagandist. Ditto Nader.
