So What Is Hillary's Plan After Obliterating Iran?
Edited on Wed Apr-23-08 05:00 AM by lligrd
And what about all the innocent Iranians she seems so easily willing to obliterate? Will she offer free health care to the lucky ones that don't die but are severely disfigured and disabled?

What about the other country's affected? What about the fallout? WTF was she thinking?

17. Establish a hereditary kingdom
Send Bill over there as Regent, until Queen Hillary is done with the US. Then declare war on Paraguay, just to mess with Bush. Pimp out Chelsea as "Crown Princess", get her a tiara of blood-diamonds. Send Bill out of the country as "minister of strange stuff". Declare that Tehran has always been her hometown, that she has a bloodline right to be the queen.

The Low Road to Victory

The Pennsylvania campaign, which produced yet another inconclusive result on Tuesday, was even meaner, more vacuous, more desperate, and more filled with pandering than the mean, vacuous, desperate, pander-filled contests that preceded it.

Voters are getting tired of it; it is demeaning the political process; and it does not work. It is past time for Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton to acknowledge that the negativity, for which she is mostly responsible, does nothing but harm to her, her opponent, her party and the 2008 election.

If nothing else, self interest should push her in that direction. Mrs. Clinton did not get the big win in Pennsylvania that she needed to challenge the calculus of the Democratic race. It is true that Senator Barack Obama outspent her 2-to-1. But Mrs. Clinton and her advisers should mainly blame themselves, because, as the political operatives say, they went heavily negative and ended up squandering a good part of what was once a 20-point lead.

On the eve of this crucial primary, Mrs. Clinton became the first Democratic candidate to wave the bloody shirt of 9/11. A Clinton television ad — torn right from Karl Rove’s playbook — evoked the 1929 stock market crash, Pearl Harbor, the Cuban missile crisis, the cold war and the 9/11 attacks, complete with video of Osama bin Laden. “If you can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen,” the narrator intoned.

If that was supposed to bolster Mrs. Clinton’s argument that she is the better prepared to be president in a dangerous world, she sent the opposite message on Tuesday morning by declaring in an interview on ABC News that if Iran attacked Israel while she were president: “We would be able to totally obliterate them.”

And, that's from a paper that previously endorsed her!

7. Part of the fallout will be a whole new generation of BinLadens
Hating America for being...what it is under Hillary and Bush (except Bush did not even nuke Iraq, so Hillary would join a club of her own)

Ah, but it helped Hillary get a 8.5% win in Pennsylvania!

13. The crazy claims that Obama
These wild allegations that Obama is anti American, doesn't respect the flag and doesn't put his hand over his heart during the pledge have had an effect as in Ohio. Oh yeah, he's also a Muslim. Voters are ignorant. Just think back to some of the nasty misinformation campaigns of the past. Look how Kerry's war time service was turned against him. This bullshit works. If 15% of the electorate believe Barack Obama is a Muslim, 30% of white men believe he is a Muslim. One guy I spoke with actually told me that Obama is really a Muslim but he is pretending to be a Christian. He more or less thought Obama was a phenomenon fostered by some muslim extremist group. As a white man I would say that white men, as a group, are the least informed members of our society. I'm serious. They rely on their fellow workers for information on every issue and Rush Limbaugh is their favorite news source.

19. She could said, honestly, "Israel has hundreds of nuclear bombs and is able to deter an attack."
Instead, she panders to the worst sort of hysterical fears with her "obliteration" pledge.

Extremely scary, irresponsible and inflamatory remark that came out of left field and has been given nowhere near the media play it deserves.
