I now agree with those of you who say it's going to be about 2012 for Clinton.

That always seemed a bit too :tinfoilhat: for me, but I woke up this morning thinking to myself, "She has decided to win at all costs, or, if she can't win, to tarnish Obama so much that he cannot win either in order to set herself up for 2012."

:scared::scared::scared:

1. Trust me on this one
The republicans will leave no stone unturned. Not only will they dig up every piece of dirt they can on Obama, they will fabricate even ten times more of it! We have seen it time and again. To think Clinton has the ability to outdo them in this category is being extremely naive.

4. She's doing pretty well though.
I mean, the Weathermen? :wtf:

Actually, what you said just made me feel better -- it's good for him to get this stuff out of the way now (I hope.)

14. Yup.
But here's the thing. They will, and are doing the same against Clinton. Obama has been restrained in his attacks. She will not have that luxery in the GE.

3. She won't get enough support to even think of 2012
"Hillary" is a dirty word around here for many, many people. She can't f over the Party and then declare herself inevitable in 4 years. Doesn't work that way.

5. But I really think she is thinking that way.
I mean, she's not even pretending to be nice anymore.

7. If Senator Obama was a viable candidate for the GE
Then anything that happens in the Primary shouldn't matter. Many MANY people believe he was never a viable candidate for the GE to begin with.

10. Someone on WJ mentioned this morning that poll where half of the electorate
said they will not vote for Hillary Clinton. I remember that. That was taken early in the primary before Obama broke out. So, it wasn't "Obama" voters saying that, it was everybody.

12. Half the electorate was polled?
I certainly didn't get that call. Of course I usually treat pollsters calling my home like telemarketers anyway, so maybe I did.

8. Obama could do 2012 much easier.
And he could kneecap the shit out of her.

I don't know if she will get very far running again in 2012
if she's not our nominee this time. Our party tends to not be very kind and forgiving to its also-rans, IMO.

11. Well my #1 goal is now to make sure HIllary Clinton and her family lose any bit of
power they have in the Democratic Party.

They are a CANCER in the party and they need to be removed.

13. Or try to sabotage his first term
so she can run another sleazy primary challenge to a "damaged" President Obama in 2012.
