TO MY FELLOW OBAMA SUPPORTERS...
I posted a promise yesterday, a promise I plan to keep, that if Obama won PA I wouldn't gloat, and if Hillary won PA I wouldn't whine or make excuses. I think the closer we get to closing the primary, the more judicious we need to be about what we do because we will need to unite the party to win in November.

So I sign on this morning and see that the Hillary and her supporters don't have the same "big picture" view, and are still doing what they can to split the party.

This is unfortunate, but not surprising. It is the reason that many Obama supporters, who were once Hillary loyalists, will no longer vote for her under any circumstances.

I don't know how ultimately our party will do in November, but I just want to tell my fellow Obama supporters this:

After listening to Obama's speech last night, and reflecting on how he has led our campaign throughout this primary, I just want to say that I am so proud to have this opportunity to be part of the fight being led by Obama and my fellow Obama supporters.

When I compared his speech to Hillary's speech, his full of inspiration and hope, hers so flat and full of herself and her ambition, I realized how lucky I am to have the experience of supporting another truly great Democratic Party leader in my lifetime.

I am in my mid-50s, and I never thought I'd experience another JFK. I was still in elementary school when he was assinated, but my mother was a life-long political activist, and I well remember the kind of hope and inspiration with which JFK filled his supporters in the election, and the entire country after he was elected.

Obama's leadership is as inspirational as JFKs was, and more, because Obama is saying "no" to the Bush/Rove politics that have destroyed our country. He is telling us that we CAN do better than that. He is honest about the efforts it will take to turn this country around, but he believes, and we do, too, that, if we can just get beyond the Bush/Rove politics, our country can be great again.

It is such a sharp constrast to what Hillary Clinton offers that it takes my breath away. She offers more of the same Bush/Rove politics, policies, looting of our country's jobs and coffers, and backroom deals that may make her and her fellow elites rich but devastate our lives and our country.

I had hoped that we, as a Party, would be able to move on this morning to fighting John McCain. I have pages of data and information on John McCain ready to publish and distribute once the primary is over, and it looks like I will have time to compile more now.

So, once again, as we take a deep breath and continue moving forward, I want to thank you for allowing me the opportunity to be part of our movement, and travel with you on this incredible journey. There is a forward-thinking determination in Obama and his supporters that I believe could truly make our country great again, and am looking forward to working with you to make that a reality.

That being said, we still have to fight Hillary and her old, backward-thinking, Bush/Rove politics and policies. Bush/Rove use those tactics because Bush does not have the strength to lead the country on his own merit. I am afraid the same is true about Hillary, and because she only has limited funds, the ads she launches will be like Rove at his very worst.

We cannot put Obama in the position where he has to sink to her level of pig-slop politics. So we are the ones who must stand up to the Clintons and their gutter tactics.

I really wish this was behind us, but it isn't.

Best wishes to you all, I'll see you in the trenches, and we'll meet in D.C. on Obama's inauguration day.

11. Please remind other Obama supporters that only losers whine and make excuses...
...It is a defeatest position, and weaknes our movement.

I know we are all disappointed that Obama didn't close the deal last night, but that's how it goes. If we wallow in our disappointment, we drag down Obama and our supporters.

And if that doesn't work, post a copy of my post. We have a fight ahead of us, yes, but we also need to relish the incredible community of OBama supporters.

4. I saw his speech. I remember when you all were so upset that
Clinton did not give a concession speech when she did not win one of the states.

I see the double standard is still in full swing here today.

I also see that you did not listen to Clinton's speech. It was not about her. It was about the people.

You want big picture: Clinton is ahead in the popular vote.

You don't want division: Then encourage your cohorts on this board to stop the 24/7 bashing of Clinton.

9. She IS ahead in the popular vote. The will of the people are deciding
the superdelegates better not subvert the will of the people.

Are you suggesting that the posts on this board are not hateful to Clinton and her supporters?

You mention one (that I have never seen by the way), and suggest that it is even? You drove honest, progressive people away with your hate.

GET A CALCULATOR!!!! He is ahead, HE is.

And I am not suggesting there are no posts hateful to HRC supporters, I am suggesting there are MANY that are as hateful or moreso to obama and his supporters.

For example, this is all from one poster with a creepy frog in her sig, over the past 2 months:

Have you been Obamboozled?

Obama gives Hillary the "fuck you," crowd of his supporters goes wild cheering.

Here's the difference in Hillary Supporters and Obama supporters....

Funny story: Obama supporter detained after verbally harassing students.

If you support Obama, you are part of the problem.

Obama's Kitchen Sink. He originated the Tonya Harding/Hillary Clinton comparison.

New movement: IF IT'S BROWN, FLUSH IT DOWN!

Another youtuber accusing Obama of an affair.

(GayWired OpEd) Hypocrite of the Week: Barack Obama

So perhaps it is HRC and HER supporters that are responsible for: driving honest, progressive people away with your hate.

So perhaps before you start hurling stones at obama supporters, you should try and get your own camp in order.

Whining and excuses from Obamites is disgusting, but lies from Hillary supporters are far worse...
For heaven's sake, do you still feel your candidate is so weak that the only way she can win is by lying?

Grow a set and stop the lying. I know you get your cues from Hillary, but you yourself must have SOME integrity.

31. Clinton has earned the hate. We must fight against her lies, corruption and old thinking...
...My gawd, even after her win in PA, she LIED in her speech. She claimed this win was because all Americans supported her. She won ONE state's Democratic vote, in a state where Independents weren't allowed to vote.

She is a very weak person. THat is why she has to use the same tactics as weakling Bush Jr: because she can't win by ethical means.

It is also why she rushes to threaten with nuclear obliteration of Iran: because she is too weak to handle the problem any other way.

We need a strong, ethical, forward-thinking leader. That is not Hillary Clinton. It is, indeed, Obama.

14. Clinton is old politics, old policies, looking backward. Obama supporters are moving forward...
...You and Hillary may want to take the Party and our country down your filthy road, but Obama supporters want something better.

We want to make our country great again, and that won't happen with Bush/Rove politics with a Hillary face on it running the country.

Obama and his supporters are moving on to make our country better.

Hillary and her supporters want to keep our country in the old Bush/Rove ways.

It seems we have both made our choices.

I'll see you in D.C. on Obama's inauguration day.

22. Obama did congratulate her last night
In the beginning of his speech. What we complained about was her pretending the races she lost did not happen and failing to congratulate him. He congratulated her last night and scolded his supporters for booing, and had kind words to say about her. Very classy, unlike the way she behaves when she loses.

15. Spread the word. PA was a bump in the road. We need to follow Obama's lead...
...and keep looking forward to the future.

When I think that the Clinton's theme song was "Don't Stop Thinking About Tomorrow" I almost cry. They are now the Ronald Reagan of the Democratic Party, dragging people into the past...into the past horrors of racism and dividing people by ethnic background...into the past Rove/Bush politics that have destroyed our country...into the past of the robber barons that once led our country, selling our jobs and our future abroad to the highest bidder.

That is what we are fighting against.

If you can't make it to D.C. for Obama's inauguration, I'll wave to you! I'll be the 6' tall redhead freezing her California kiester off, with the HUGE grin on my face!

27. I wasn't born in time to experience JFK's election or admin...
And I was only a toddler when MLK was shot. I've always wished I'd been there to take experience the uplifting, positive politics that inspired and guided our country for years to come. The Obama candidacy has potential similar to theirs, and I proud to be a supporter. Same-as-usual politicians like Clinton are incapable of guiding our country to where it needs to be again. We've lost our way and she doesn't even seem to realize it. GOBAMA!

30. I am so fortunate to experience a true leader twice in my lifetime...
...I have my mother to thank for orienting me in politics at a very early age. I don't think many elementary-school kids truly followed the political races and so could compare JFK with other politicians.

I agree about our country having lost our way, and Hillary being clueless. She is so stuck in the past. She constantly talks about when she was a little girl. This is not the direction our country needs to take.

Relish this experience. I don't think I will again experience another leader like Obama, nor the high quality of inspired voters who he atracts. The Obama community is simply amazing, and I am proud, and fortunate, to be a part of it.

37. To Obama Supporters
She won PA because of her strong support among woman 30 and older.Unlike some of her supporters who
come her calling us a cult I won't do the same. But remember this. Both the Black vote and younger vote was smaller than In Ohio.Obama got more White Men than In Ohio. This Is ignored by the Media
tonight Keith Olberman might mention It but Countdown will be the only one since it Is the only
fair news show to Obama. The final total will likely be a 9 point loss for Obama(not 10 as MSNBC and CNN reported) and this means the new voters helped offshot slightly the undecideds breaking for her.
He has done better than In Ohio and this needs to be taken Into account.Remember Obama Is running
against the wife of the last Democratic President that gives her a edge In some states. And for all the talk of Obama ouspending her the MSM always gives her ads free air time plus the last debate was
a pro Clinton event(why has noone really mentioned her war mongoring admission) and Obama Is being hit with the guilt by association and taken things out of context.Obama was at one point 20-30 points behind In PA and he loses by 9.Always remember Obama was never ahead In PA.All that has happened Is prolonging this race and helping Mccain In the fall.

but I am one obama supporter that would be proud to vote for clinton if she became the nominee. I actually do see some misogyny going on ( be a good little woman and let the man step up ). There is absolutely no basis for asking her to back off from this battle. She is actually campaigning in a very effective manner. Outspent 3 to 1 in PA and she won by double digits. Not bad!
