http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2008/primaries/results/state/#PA

Double digit victory my ass. Its all about ratings people. Truth is the race goes on, Clinton looks stronger and the superdelegates don't jump if Clinton can claim a double-digit victory.

The numbers are much closer to 54% Clinton 46% Obama, to suggest otherwise is nothing but politics and spin.

3. Unbelievable
So not only does Obama have to fight off double teams from Clinton and McCain but now the MSM too.

12. He is running against the Machine, all of it.
ABC's "debate" made that crystal clear.

Yet, he's still winning. :)

13. Provisional ballots is the new scam to keep one side's totals down early in the count
Everywhere the Clinton ward heelers control the counting process, there have been large numbers of provisional ballots set aside for counting later, if at all. By doing that, they give inaccurate numbers early in the process, and it helps Hillary appear to do better than she has.

They are using every dirty trick in the Republican play book to skew results and misrepresent them.

2. Yep, the votes that haven't been counted favor Obama
So he'll definitely be in single digits and the deficit will be closer to 8 than 9

8. I think the OP is comparing cnn totals to the state of pa totals -
which are at 99.03 and showing 8.6 gap. Hinting that cnn
wants everyone to see a 10 pt spread vs. less than that -
when they should be really showing the most up-to-date

you are right - I don't think provisionals are in
yet.

10. Exactly
Didn't realize the provisionals weren't in yet. But CNN doesn't even have the latest count, there is no excuse for that.

11. Doesn't matter
A double digit victory gives her campaign a huge boost, and galvanizes her support.

7. Very interesting. Like they stopped when it was 10 !! It reminds
me of when Bush claimed victory in Fl in 2000. I always thought
that it was a brilliant move. Like Gore should have done that - it's
all about appearances and Bush put himself out there as the winner
and Gore became the challenger.

9. There are thousands of provisional ballots in Philly.
Thousands of new registrations were discarded by the Board of Elections for "insufficient data" when they were in fact perfectly complete and legitimate.

The Board of Elections simply ran out of time to process them all. But by law had to process them all, so...

Welcome to Philly politics, friends.

they are STILL showing 10%. This is totally wrong.
