Here is the Dilemma facing the Democratic party
Edited on Wed Apr-23-08 11:26 AM by spokane
The media and its cronies ala DLC and Neo-cons are bent on interfering

with the process of the Democratic Primary.

If the Democrats do not act now it will be too late, seating and watching
the Republicans and the media dictate the pace of the primary does not
show leadership. The media changes the subject line and are calling the
shots so does Hillary Clinton.

The Republicans know they have messed up, they know they have created a
monster and also does not have a candidate, but what SOME Democrats are
doing is conniving with Republicans to tamper with the process through the
DLC and 'FUCK UP' the Democrats' chance of controlling Congress and Senate
with a majority for a very long time by allowing this CHARADE to
continue.

Its in the media's and Republicans interests to see that the Democratic
primary continues its soap opera. Its time to take this fight to the
trenches, the idea is to kneecap Obama and prevent him from winning the
GE and thats what is going on right now and if the Obama camp are
seating back and allowing Hillary to take the media, well...only God
knows what will be the outcome.

GET IN THE TRENCHES.... GET IN THE TRENCHES...

:grr:

its the media stupid!
oh shit! I just woke up with a donkey head next to me!

1. Read this. All is not bleak.
http://www.azcentral.com/arizonarepublic/opinions/articles/0423wed1-23.html

Democrats are setting records at registering new voters. The flow of contributions to the candidates is overwhelmingly toward the Democrats and specifically toward Obama, who raised an astonishing $41 million in March, 2½ times the amount raised by the likely GOP nominee, McCain.

**snip**

Likewise, Republicans should not take too much joy at the conflict among their fellows across the aisle. The current Democratic contest notwithstanding, McCain's road to the presidency remains an uphill slog against formidable barriers.

2. And that is why I support Obama.
He may not be my progressive ideal - but he is bringing in numbers of new democrats that will overwhelm the power of the DLC and other regressives who have held the power in the party for far too long.

3. High gas prices, high food prices, people becoming homeless, job loss and all of the other
ills america faces will play out in a democratic win on all levels of government. One thing we can count on is people are waking up to the fact that the republicons caused this nightmare. When I can drive around Grand Rapids michigan and see very few yellow Wal Mart "support the troops" on numb nuts vehicles plus the fact that I have seen no McCain bumper stickers, though one numb nut in a Chevy 4x4 pick up had a GW08 sticker. It don't look good for republicons. Then theres the pot hole sitituation all over the city, people are talking about how the republicons have let them down, city, state and federal republicons are being blamed for the mess. This is the home of Scam Way heads, DeVoss and Vanandal as well as the home of Jerry Ford where a year ago you could count the Democratic supporters in the hundreds. The talk at the majority of eateries used to be how well the war was going, how bad it was for a woman and a black to be considered as president and how any republicon could beat both. Today the talk is about gas prices, food prices and how the republicons have done nothing to stop the mess. Even the local Wal Mart on Alpine that used to take an hour to find a parking spot in has seen a dramatic drop in customers. Or the fact that their kids are having a rough time finding part time jobs around the area because every business has cut back.

5. Yes, all of that is true
but the Republicans and the Clinton's have a way of stealing votes, yes they do
steal votes, that has not gone away. Our focus has to be on those voting machines
why else would the Clinton's lose caucuses and win Primaries, simple, because you
can't physically steal people while they are standing in front of you.

This insider dealing that the Clinton's are doing need to be targeted.

It needs greater attention....
