Is Clinton just running now to get enough money to pay off her debt- then bow out?

  Was talking to a friend earlier (an Obama supporter, like myself) who argued that she wasn't going to take it to the convention (my belief) but raise what money she can before May 6th, pay off her creditors and then bow out that evening, regardless of her showing. She just doesn't have the money or the votes to continue.

  His angle, and I agree with this part, is that the writing is on the wall and she knows it. She also knows that unless the wins are wild upsets (with her taking something like 80% of the vote) she just can't make the numbers, and that party pressure is becoming unbearable.

  Where I differ with him is that I think the advisors around her and the big money Pelosi-threatening donors are going apeshit and refuse to let her put a stop to this thing.

  Any thoughts? Cause the only way she defeats the math is by trying to pull off some insane coup at the convention. I can see her trying but I can't see her pulling it off in the 2 1/2 days before the nomination is made.

  I'd like to believe that she's just pulling in cash to pay everyone off before closing up shop but after what I've seen from her Campaign- I believe they will do anything to win, regardless of who it tears up or tears down.

6. Well, I don't think it'll bankrupt her but any money she & Bill put into...

...the campaign from now on is almost certianly not going to get any returns. It's all about the bill collector, or mostly, at this point. It would be truly humorous to me if she and Bill did sink everything they had, or almost all of it, into a vanity campaign which they had no hope of winning.

  It would be amusing beyond belief and it would be the crowning fuckup in the Campaign of Entitlement.

if she doesn't win then she will make certain that Obama doesn't either in order to set herself up for 2012. Clinton really could give a rats ass about the Democratic Party, it is all about herself.

I have posted this before and will again. Very seldom (if ever) do you hear Barack Obama use the term I or me, instead he uses Us and We where Clinton always uses the I or Me terminology.
