We are going to Denver, get used to it. OBAMA cannot close even after spending 40 million dollars of your money to win. He lost.

AND....50,000 new donors in 24 hours! Awesome!

41. "McAuliffe on MSNBC...."
Terry McAuliffe would try to sell Bermuda shorts to Eskimos by telling them the Eskimos two villages over "are all buying them"...

Clinton is searching for donors by inflating the numbers...creating her own bandwagon, so to speak...

it will soon be obvious how much $$$ she is/has raised...

we'll see, then....TMac ain't exactly the most reliable source for anything of truth out of the clinton camp.

19. Go to Denver to do what?
Congrats on a Hillary victory yesterday, but ultimately I believe it will prove to be a hollow one.

If the SuperD's pull off a coup and go against the pledged D's and the popular vote, Denver will equal a disaster for the party. The party would be split beyond repair anytime soon.

We would lose the GE and very possibly our majority on The Hill.

Dems know what a stolen election feels like, a stolen nomination will feel worse.

108. Just the voters. Which is why he's leading in delegates, contests won, and popular vote,
Hill is losing her base which is why she could only muster a 9.2% win in a state tailor made for her to do much much better.

She did better with her base in Ohio than she did in PA. so she's actually bleeding her base.

I'm quite confident we will have this wrapped up by June. You will be sad and disapointed, but you will get over it.

And then we will kick John McCain's ass in the GE.

51. You actually believe Terry McAuliffe? THIS Terry McAuliffe?
ASSOCIATED PRESS: The Labor Department is suing two union officials alleging they invested pension funds in "imprudent" deals with companies owned by a top fund-raiser for President Clinton and Hillary Rodham Clinton. Terence McAuliffe, the fund-raiser who recently offered to help the Clintons purchase a home in New York, is not a defendant in the lawsuit. The Labor Department regulates those who manage workers' pensions, not those who do business with such funds. The lawsuit says that in one instance McAuliffe made $2.45 million on a deal in which the fund bought him out of a real estate partnership. He had invested $100, the pension fund $39 million .... The department alleges the pension fund lost money as a result of a loan and a partnership deal that comprised more than $47 million in investments with McAuliffe's companies. Tax records show the fund didn't receive all the principal and interest due under the loan.

WALL STREET JOURNAL: In his defense of the loan, Mr. McAuliffe asks: What can Bill Clinton do for me? For starters, he could make it tough for the U.S. Attorney's office to get to the bottom of Mr. McAuliffe's oft-denied role in the sleazy 1996 "contributions swap" between the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and the Teamsters union .... What Terry McAuliffe did in essence is make a contribution to Hillary's campaign. Its whole purpose is to enable her to establish residence in New York, thus the money is absolutely essential to her campaign .... In the Hillary race, no McAuliffe "loan," no residency, no campaign. His contribution would seem to be more than $1,000.

94. 10 million isn't enough.
She started the PA contest 10.3 million in the red, then Obama forced her to spend countless millions more she does not have to eek out her victory - so the 3-10 million just donated still leaves her in the hole. Obama's war chest is massive so he can slowly bleed her campaign to death. That's how this will end - not with a bang but with a whimper.

Now before you get "upset" about him "outspending" HRC - be honest, if she had the money she would have spent it too. The only reason she was outspent is because she is not capturing the imagination and the dollars of real Americans. Her fat cat bundler friends are tapped out and even Hillary now admits she's got a real money problem that's not likely to go away.

Garner Printing 16260.10
Hoerner YMCA 750.00
Koch Brothers 3462.98

(Yep, her campaign paid the Iowa debt written about in earlier articles and paid vendors with the words 'Iowa' in their title, but still left over $20,000 in remaining debt SINCE BEFORE THE IOWA CAUCUSES!)

And that's just Iowa - wonder how much her camp still owes in New Hampshire - Nevada - South Carolina x(

117. She probably "loaned" herself more
money. Her big money donors have been maxed out for the primary for months. Don't get too excited. It took weeks to find out that she made herself a $5 mill loan way back in Feb.

If McAwful is claiming she has $10 mill, then the only source of the majority of it is her own personal stash. He has never, ever been a straightforward type of person, so of course he would not say this straight out.

132. Personal Loan.
I have a feeling a large chunk of that 10 mil was a personal loan to her campaign. I can buy the 3.5 million figure with 50,000 donors at 50-100 per donation. I am not going to buy 10 million entirely from new donors at 200 per donation.

I notice he very carefully did not say that the campaign got 10 million from 50,000 new donors he said they raised 10 million and had 50,000 new donors.

That being said I don't trust a candidate to balance the budget who can't even balance their campaign expenses even with injections of their own cash.

134. The campaign of george w. bush was consistently flush with tons of cash.
Explain to me how the management of campaign finances correlate with balancing the budget of a country, using as an example bush's campaign and our current government state of debt. Also please relate any other campaign anecdotes at your disposal. Don't forget Kerry's infusion of his funds when he was sinking, as well.

I'm at work, but I'll check in later for your response which backs up your assertion that Hillary cannot govern based on the state of her campaign's finances. Thank you.

By the way, welcome to DU. :hi:
