Why are THESE TWO LIES in a row so important to this campaign?

Because it speaks to the media effect of these stories that targets the worst in voters.

By claiming he had the race card played AGAINST him, Bill is feigning kindrance with the those whites who PERCEIVE that whites are suppressed by what they can and cannot say. You only need be familiar with David Horowitz' campaign on college campuses to see that the GOP has figured this out as a way to keep white voters disillusioned with programs like Affirmative Action. There isn't a chance in hell that Clinton isn't well aware of this and intended to use it himself for TEMPORARY political gain.

That voters who said race WAS AN ISSUE for them, voted more FOR Hillary should not be a surprise to anyone who heard Bill's claim.

THIS is NOT the voice of a President or statesman. This is the voice of an ACTOR appealing to the worst in white voters.
